In this video I am out with Wuertemberger Chopping out of the Richmond Indiana Area as they do some custom chopping jobs near Boston Indiana & Eaton Ohio.
In the video they are chopping corn silage with their Claas Jaguar 990 Self Propelled Forage Harvester. The New Holland and JCB Tractors and wagons belong to Wuertembergers and some of the other tractors used in this video belong to the farms they were chopping at. I took my Deutz Fahr 6230 TTV Tractor down to give them a chance to run it.
I still have several corn silage videos to edit and upload to my RUclips Channel so stay tuned for those.
Thanks for watching and feel free to Like, leave a comment and Subscribe to my channel.

I don't believe I have ever seen a better chopper operator than that one in Indiana. Even on the transition from one trailer to another, he was spot on. Almost zero waste.

MIke, early in the video you said that you brought down your D-F tractor. Is that actually yours or did you just mean one you had out for demo'ing? I know you work on the farm near you and wondered if maybe you bought one for yourself to have for future use?

Is that clamp right on the dirt? I don't think I've seen that kind of clamp before.
How do they prevent soil from contaminating the feed?
I always enjoy your videos, but every farm video I've seen has concrete pads, buildings, bunkers, silos, or ag bags.
Never seen a dirt bunker before.
Edit - Farmers. They have some of the most expensive assets, with the most amount of debt to asset ratio, put in the most hours, and are essential to the economy, and the country for the food they produce, yet can't farm for a living as farming is an expensive way to make a living. I've heard some have jobs outside of farming just to put food on their own table, and pay the regular bills of the household. Can't live without a farmer doing what they do, and yet they are considered villains because food doesn't come from the ground anymore. It comes from a store. (eye roll with heft doses of sarcasm built in)
