When this album drop, I'm buying it. I bought all of his albums. Ryan Leslie is self made; he produce his own instrumentals with real instruments (not a beat machine) , write his own verses/songs, and direct his own visuals. Who else is doing that to this standard, while independent (Without major label backing) and still go on global tours and perform at extravagant venues. I know I am investing in art when I buy his albums. Instead of listening to what comes on the radio. #BlackMozart

Ryan Leslie is doing what he wants. He doesn't want to do the same thing over and over, he wants to progress, evolve, elevate to higher levels, he already did the singing, he is still doing the producing, he's just going at it a different way now by rapping, and he will do it how he wants to for the moment, don't expect him just to only rap because he will keep bringing more and different styles.

I was at Gramercy with Ryan in October and i got to see both sides of his music. I miss the older material, but the new stuff is dope too. I hope he doesnt get too many other producers involved in his music though. Thats where RLes really shines, producing and writing his own hits
