This reminds me of how last year when the nuggets swept the lakers and Jasons response was all about the Moral Victories the Lakers made just getting to the WCF.
He somehow made the nuggets next series still about the Lakers again 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Lakers fans really be coping hard, do they.
Lakers are better than y’all give them credit for. They are better than Minnesota CTE offense
@@nnam2397 I hope so. Means my nuggets will beat them in 5 as well
Laker fan delusion is alive and well I see
1-11? Who else do the nuggets handle like this? But yea the team with 1 win in 11 tries is obviously the toughest opponent 😂😂😂. Us “casuals” just don’t understand 😂😂
Actually 1-13.
Jokic literally said last year the lakers series was their toughest even after a sweep. I trust the mvps opinion
Wow, really, the Lakers lose in 5 and some how the Lakers are the toughest team they face? I guess that means that the Nuggets sweep their way to a second chip. Guys the Lakers are 1 out of 9 in playoff games against the Nuggets...that is not close.
Ok and why do you think the other teams they swept through are any better ?
@@dthrust9037 The regular season record would suggest the Lakers were mediocre in the west. There is a reason they were the opening round opponent for the second seed in the west.
Every game they played the Lakers was competitive
@@dthrust9037He’s saying they won’t sweep the rest of the way through that’s ridiculous.
@@406dn7 yall take regular season too seriously how many times have we seen the clippers flame out? Last season the lakers made it to the wcf half the games came down to game winners what do you think the lakers would do against the clippers, suns, okc(Chet got injured trying to guard lebron on one drive at a pick up game🤣)and pelicans?
This video title is disrespectful to the T-Wolves
Who cares
@@Eastunder
I do
D-low that defensive juggernaut gave Denver fits 😅
Bro, last year you said that the Lakers gave the nuggets the best series and yet they were swept and the Suns won at least one game
There's some delusion, but I do think every team had some claim to being the "hardest" matchup. The Heat were the only one to win in Denver, the Lakers kept every game close, the Suns actually snagged 2, and the Wolves played them the toughest. Of course this is a run where the Nuggets went 16-4 so YMMV on what any of that means.
I have to assume that the title is intentionally written for engagement. The lakers played them tough, sure, but saying they’ll be the toughest opponent the nuggets face seems like a bit of a stretch. Anything can happen in the playoffs, and I’m picking Denver to win the west but this take seems like a reach.
Lebron and AD will be the toughest duo Denver will face though
Agree. In fact, as a completely neutral observer, those late game sequences are almost NOTHING to do with luck. 94% execution.
lol still finding ANY way to talk about the Lakers smh
Yes - they were. And I'm glad I'm not the only one realizing it
The problem was not Jamal at all. It was MPJ being just too big and too on target and Aaron Godron on the glass. That's it, and most games were very close. Hell, 2 games in a 5 game series won by a buzzer beater? That's crazy. Closest gentleman's sweep ever.
Jason gotta get off Bron nuts he can’t give it up even after they lost.
Minnesota has been good but sometimes these blowouts can be traps. Id like to see them in a close game against the champs and see how they execute. Lebron couldn't out execute the Nuggets, I'd like to see how Finch and his squad play when the going gets tough
The Lakers are the worst team they’ll play
The Celtics are the only team they’ll play that’s better. Minnesota is terrible offensively Denver will cruise
@@nnam2397Minnesota was 1st in offensive rating first round. Main regular season issue offensively was turnovers. Minnesota was the 3rd best 3 pt shooting team and top 10 in efg%.
@@nnam2397well too bad they won’t get to play the Celtics after they lose to a “terrible offensive” team
@@antmj2335yes 1st offensively against the suns horrible defense…
@@nnam2397 So the t wolves have. A better bench while the nuggets have a more cohesive unit in the starting 5 but kcp and murry r comeing in hurt
When I first saw the title of this vid, I knew I'd be coming back after game one. Yeah, no, they weren't lol.
The Lakers are just gonna have to live with it, along with Lebron, drafting his son, and hiring jj redick as their coach.
Live with that shit lol.
Hey Jason, long time viewer here - love and always loved you show, i put it on the same tier as JJ’s (to use this years buzzword of hoops tonight 😄)
You get a lot of criticism about biases towards the lakers, obviously as a fan you’re going to have some, as you’ve stated yourself many many times already. I agree every now and again with a comment pointing that out, but overall i think its crazy how much hate and nonsense you have to deal with on the daily (big probs to you there, i couldn’t do it and stay positive the way you do 👍🏾)
To my question: Your colleague Draymond Green just stated on his show that the lakers didnt get better this season in terms of roster (details in his video) - can you comment on your stance on what it means when you disagree with the assessment of an NBA player, and do their opinions factor into your views at all?
Myself i don’t think they do and should - but i want to hear you talk about that.
Thank you for everything
Greetings from Switzerland
Talmbout the nuggets needed game 5 🤣🤣 na that really made me laugh out loud literally ! 😭
They do this w Celtics too. Expectations are so high if den or bos loses a single game they’re vulnerable…two games and they’re frauds 🤦🏽♂️
DLO, RUI did not step up and were inconsistent especially DLO scoring 0 points. Missing too many free-throws in game 5 cost them the series. AR missed 2 which he never does! Oh well it's all said and done. You cannot be sloppy in the playoffs. It's survival of the fittest, it's always been for centuries!
The Lakers were much better than the record reflected. I thought they played the Nuggets near even, and its a cop-out to say the Nuggets were just "playing with them". Instead just say "I hate the lakers/lebron, both get more coverage than my team whos only been recently relevant". Same deal
...no, next question...
Wow. Riveting contribution
Check this dudes wrists and see if he slit them
Those of you who dont understand this do not understand playoff basketball. I think only the Celtics will give them perhaps a harder test. But Edwards and Towns are going to be a harder test than Lebron/AD???? Give me a fucking break. The joke of a team that will meet Denver in the WCF????
Do u understand the rigging by the refs we watch the games
Yeah… OKC and Minnesota are both better. Only in the deluded minds of the Laker faithful were Lebron and company a really good team.
You’re slowly becoming more and more unlikeable with your Laker and LeBron bias. They are 1-11 (!!) against the Nuggets and you keep harping on about how difficult they are for the Nuggets. Sure, many games are close but when you consistently ARENT winning, how are they the most difficult opponent they’ll face?
I am a nuggets fan and I actually agree lakers is a tough team. I don’t understand how anyone doesn’t see this given how close the games were. Laker haters pretending to be objective is just as pathetic as the delusional fans. I think wolves will be the weakest opponent, then it’s lakers/mavs, celtics will be the toughest
Dude I like your break downs. But just stop the lakers are trash LeBron plays hard for a game or 2 and AD is broken the lakers are the worst team they will play, you said it yourself you’re a bron fan boy. The lakers are terrible
If I gave the lakers every benefit of the doubt I possibly could they were the 5th best team in the west. No question lakers lose to min okc dal n den
Honestly, I think the Lakers were SIGNIFICANTLY better than people believe. Labron, and the Lakers, were gaming the regular season - knowing they could beat any team - except Denver. The Lakers would beat every team they wanted to - except the Nuggets. Anthony Davis has the series of his lifetime - and it didn't matter. The Nuggets are just that tough. Jokic just wore down AD, to then take advantage of him late in the game. Jokic MANAGES the game to win - not to look pretty. If it were closer, Jokic would have demanded the ball more in able to secure the victory. Jokic's awesome presence, and unmatched basketball IQ, were too much for Labron to will his team to victory.
They finished 7th for a reason...bad habits on the defensive end...Reboudning and perimeter defense. Even if AD and Lebron were able to score as much as Jokic and Murray, the rest of the starting 5 for Denver had more open looks. MPJ and Gordon were basically scoring out of offensive rebounds at any time and are much better players on both sides of the ball than Dlo, Rui and Reeves...
AD and Lebron shooting more than usual also takes away shots from the rest of their starting 5 and expose them to be more hot and cold...In the end, for all the scoring AD and Lebron were able to do, they had no answer defensively for a Jokic and Murray who were not necesarily on their A game offensively, only in key moments...
@@Gus-xw9ynno one in Minnesota is as good as LeBron or AD. AD was probably a top 3 player in the playoffs that series. And might be the best defender Jokic gonna face this post season. Also last year Lakers were a play in team and made it to the WCF
No, hell fucking no. Wolves would have mopped the floor with the Lakers. Let's stop this Lakers glazing, it's out of control. They're garbage among PO teams. God, it's so irritating.
Wtf 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stop feeling yourself to lebron layup video jason
They are rge flopiest team they will face
This theory is the reason why u are so delusional and out of context because of lebron prime that was so ridicoulous 😊
Lakers lost what? 11 out of the last 12? Against Denver.
Not necessarily a formidable opponent.
The T-WOLVES have played them even over the last two years and nearly won AT Denver without all 3 BIGS (Rudy, ,KAT, NAZ all out).
6-7 game series coming up, then the winner of the OKC -Dallas/Clippers pairing.
Lakers are last years news
