What is the material? Looks like pulverized blue clay. Must be very heavy/dense to reach the weight limit of the trucks with much less than a full box?
I don't know what's the point of buying a Liebherr 974. It needs exactly the same number of passes (3) as a CAT 365, a smaller but much faster and more efficient excavator and, above all, cheaper. Edited to add that the operator also leaves the trucks half empty. I would need 4 passes to fill them.
There could possibly be a weight limit for the trucks if they are going out on public roads.. If they were moving overburden from one section of the site to the other, I would have thought they would use bigger dumpers and excavators...
