When Ruslan puts out a video, you know its going to be good 😎. I really enjoyed it, NLC's or not. You're a great storyteller and can convey the mood brilliantly in your videos.

05:38 „…, but it´s still amazing and i love it“
Yes, that's exactly. Passion for the incredible beauty of our nature. Whether it's NLC or polar lights. I can understand you very well. I feel the same way when I'm chasing the northern lights at night, just 300 km south of you on the North Sea coast. Sometimes there is no aurora, sometimes only for minutes when the clouds briefly open and allow a glimpse. And sometimes you get rich gifts when you expect a weak aurora and suddenly the sky is on fire. Or at the NLC the year 2019, when on 21.06. an allnight fullsky display passed over me. I hardly took any photos, just lay down in the garden and just enjoyed it. I wish you many more nice nights, whether with or without a sighting. Clear skies.

Saw the best display of this season(so far) 2 nights ago. It is beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the northern lights 😊

I feel your pain. Getting back out of bed at 11pm at the first hint of NLCS on the eastern Europen webcams to drive for miles and hiking around in the dark only for them to either not appear or cloud to roll in and drive back disappointed and getting just a few hours sleep for nothing. When you do finally score them with a pre-scouted foreground and you're not rushing about it's so rewarding!

Great video about the frustration of the current NLC season. I've only seen them once so far, on 15-16 June but it was quite a good display (there's a timelapse video on my channel). There have been a few clear nights in the UK recently and it is a real shame that the NLCs are just not appearing. Hopefully now that we are into July things will improve. Clear skies!

They are very late this year.I am in north east England, around 54.6 north, and most years I have have seen them directly overhead by June. This year I've only seen them far to the north and close to the horizon.Although 2023 is the first year I've seen both Nacreous and Noctilucent Clouds!I saw my first ever Nacreous Clouds in January.
