This is probably our favourite loop in Norfolk, we love the Theford Loop but this is special, it takes you to the most special and beautiful places in Norfolk. You obviously don't just have to explore the given route, there are so many places to explore in this glorious part of England

I enjoyed that, thanks for sharing it. Oh and as for those Leatt knee protectors, I have a pair which I’ve been using about a year now and they are great. They’re really comfortable and you can’t even tell that you are wearing them which just proves how comfortable they are 👍
Loved the video Mike, so much so, downloaded your GPX file and I’ll be coming over from the midlands for a couple of nights with the intention of riding your route early September. Slight change in that Ill be staying in a b&b. Thanks for the inspiration
Managed to get over and did the ride 2nd and 3rd September, thoroughly enjoyed it. Initially a mini disaster, downloaded the GPX off line before I left home, all ok until I got here and OS wouldn’t run it, couldn’t access it. Luckily I was booked in a b + b spent my first night here on the GRM and looking at a screen shot of your GPX, iPad and phone re plotting the route.
All good at the end of the day, very enjoyable
Nice little ride through the Suffolk/ Norfolk countryside all that you miss riding a road bike it’s beautiful when your properly into the countryside I use to run and mountain bike round the fields and country footpaths in Essex where I live near frinton on sea so nice in the evenings and weekends when the miggets not about I only ride a motorbike on the tarmac it’s definitely not a off-road bike take care ride safe mate
I have lived and ridden in this part of the world for many years and I love it. I now live in Downham Market, so I have the North Norfolk coast on one side and the Fens on the other, how is that for variety? Do come and see this part of the world before the politicians and planners destroy it for ever.

Really enjoyed this video. I usually follow bike packing on gravel and mtb bikes, but this popped into my feed probably because out of curiosity I watched a vidoe,s on the Mutt mushman and Honda trail. Maybe its telling me something.. Subcribed. 😀

I actually use my bike to check in on the waters I bailiff for the angling club I'm in. No one's thumped me yet, ..but they can try. 😂😂

We're off early September to do your C2C route. Managed to ride in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Gloucester so who knows if I do manage to make it over your way I appreciate you making the route available. Noticed you've got the Rallz on the back how long did the pirelli's last and another helmet off that helmet tree you must be growing 😂 thanks for sharing and the massive effort to entertain us
@@gnarlybadger690 as it’s dried out now I’ve put the Rallz back on, might as well use them as leave them in the shed getting in the way. Still a fair bit left on the mt21, will save that for when it’s a bit wetter. Yeah that helmet was going cheap in my local shop and it looked unloved so I brought it home! 🤔😜✌️ Hope the C2C goes well, that’s a cracking route, long days riding but such great trails 🙏👍

Really enjoyed this. I’ve just bought a Desert X and wondering if I can also do this. I have some off-road experience but not loads. If your ever in the Ipswich area please let me know.
Most of it is pretty simple, the problem is gonna come with tyres, especially wet grass, it can easily catch people out, it aways looks so tame but it can be very slippy. If you ride with someone else it will help if you have issues. I live near Hadleigh so not a million miles away
@@twowheeledadventuresuk2739 I way, I’m in Coddenham so really not far away. I need to ride some very easy trails to get used to the bike. If you fancy that sometime please let me know.
We must of just missed each other! I was out doing the pedders way on Saturday on my 1200 Scrambler. I'll have to give this a go next time.

Man after my own heart, this is exactly what I love to do and with my ideal bike -T7.
Not bought one yet, just sold my Multistrada but want a T7 to go on tours camping 🏕️ etc, etc ! Just starting buying gear ready to go in 2025. ( Just subscribed ) 👍

@@davidrodenhurst3299 it was 380, I did bid on a used Yam rally seat that went for 240, I bid 180, new ones are 360, so I thought after that the SC seat was cheap. I can’t ride the bike long on the road, 3 hrs sitting down and I’m in agony, hopefully gonna go down for the adventure bike show in September so needed to do something 👍
Nice video, i'm local and ride a lot of the areas you did but on road (sports bike), made a nice change to see all the back lanes. Im often parked up at Hunny too, I didn't realise the deep sandy lane went all the way from Hustanton to Heachem. I need to get an adventure bike :)
@@PicturebikeMXphotography there’s something quite magical about being in the middle of nowhere on a bike, no cars or anything about, makes me feel very relaxed - not quite as full-on as a day at Mildenhall!👍

Really nice video and route, I've been trying your north of Essex route and that was amazing, Thetford one is a gem as well... I will be doing that again this weekend... Thank you for making these happened.. I really enjoy the adventure side of riding... One question on the Norfolk one : would this route be around 5 to 6 hours of riding?! 😊

@@mabsbry1318 new gloves, that was the first ride but liked them - Klim Baja S4. Thor Terrain jacket, been very good, very adaptable as the sleeves come off etc - I do a review on it if you search for it - Fox Ranger top and pants, again love them, been a good buy. Thanks for the kind comments 👍

@@steveinskip4897 was out all winter/spring on the 450 with the TRF, hoping to go to wales next month and might take it down to the Adventure Bike Show in September, do some lanes down there. My sparing partner has had a bad ankle so been doing more on the T7 👍

Was that you at the tank memorial on Friday? I was there with my world raid and met up with my old mate Bob for a chat. I'd ridden from Lincoln and he from Witham in Essex. Was going to come over and say hello but you were off pretty quickly.Must have been you as I recognise the gucci kit. Planning to do some of your routes soon👍

Have you been tempted to try any of the Kove offerings ie the 800x Pro or the 450?
I think you would be able to give a really good well informed review against the Tenere and CRF450L and let us know if the Chinese hype is for real.

If I could get my hands on one then I'd certainly have a ride. For me bikes have always been about looks and how they make you feel - I could have bought a KTM EXC 500 but they just didn't speak to me, I didn't like how they looked. Same with the KTM 890, I think it's one of the ugliest bikes ever, those blooming horrible bug eyed lights - undoubtedly the 890 is a great bike, but I don't like it, simple as that. I think tho there's just far too much chat and bollocks about bikes, about this new bike and that new bike - just ride what you love and enjoy the ride. As for Kove, no idea about the 800, never seen it or know what it looks like. The 450 rally bike probably makes for a cheap rally bike, but why you'd want one of them in the UK over any other 450, they weigh a ton - think if I could only have 1 bike then I'd probably get a 701 and stick a screen on that, makes more sense to me

Quick question......I loaded the gpx into OS Maps but it shows as a pink line which is really difficult to follow. Anyone know if the colour/style can be changed?
@@reginaldcrudstump383 in the app open the route and then click on edit and then top right corner should be 3 dots, click on that then I think it says line style, then you can pick the colour you want, thickness and opacity level
Great video, what make of tent and camping mattress do you use?
It's a Onetigris Tetra 160, my previous vlog was a review of it. That was the first use of my new Big Agnes Rapid SL wide pad - it's very comfortable, good insulation for year round use, not ridiculously expensive and lightish - if you look at some of the reviews for that on YT you'll see it pretty well liked generally
What tent are you using and do you use it just in summer time?

What's the name of the mapping software that you used
OS Map App on Iphone - I do a vlog were I compare it to a Zumo XT - for me it is the best app for nav in the UK, because you get OS maps, but it will work in Europe but just with general mapping, the kind you get on the Zumo XT
