Absolut großartig! Die Musik natürlich, das Orchester (mal wieder), die Bildregie! Wirklich großartig!
Fantastic performance.
Deep understanding of a highly programmatic composition.
Es war ein erstklassiges Konzerterlebnis! Bis zum Schluss mitreißend!
superb performance! thank you.
A very fine performance. I've heard numerous fine interpretations of this piece, Stokowski, Gergiev, Petrenko, Kondrashin, Jurovsky, Rostropovich, Rhozdestvensky, Bychkov, and now Inbal.
Great performance. Thank you.
Marvelous performance!
For me this is too nice.
Bravo!
La piazza del palazzo - Adagio 00:00
Il 9 gennaio - Allegro. Adagio. Allegro. Adagio 13:34
In memoriam - Adagio 31:56
Campane a martello - Allegro non troppo 42:56
Thank you!!
El maestro Elihau Inbal dirige brillantemente a la orquesta interpretando esta impresionante y trascendental obra.
Mi sinfonía favorita 😍
The only issue i have with this performance is that 27:19 is FAR too gentle
Agree.
Yes, the tam-tam has very poor sound that damages the damaging effect.
The second issue is the first trumpet fluffing a little first movement's end, and the third issue is that it is not mravinski's. Nevertheless, Inbal is so underrated, I love his shostakovich's fifth with RSO Frankfurt with a truly non troppo allegro non troppo.
@@zwieglupglup Yes, Inbal is underrated. I have heard very many performances of "Le sacre du printemps". No one equals Inbal's with the Philharmonia Orchestra from 1990.
It might sound weak on audio, but live it might had sounded ten times louder!!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_No._11_(Shostakovich)
Знают.
what happened to the gong at 27:20
They've gong.
I think the chose the wrong gong for this piece. It's too big and doesn't respond as fast
I think he missed second stroke....
The second one is missing, yeah.
No bell at the end. The bell should have the last note and be allowed to decay into silence.
Mind boggling performance of a titanic symphony.
i guess it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released series online ?
@Erick Luca Flixportal =)
@Jeffrey Koda thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !
@Erick Luca Happy to help :)
지휘자 정말 인상적.
Great performance, but the mixing in 56:30 is abysmal. Last mvmt. could need more speed.
Bells not strong enough in the finale
If you haven't listened to this song of Shostakovich from the film First Echelon, listen to it, it's theme is very prominent in this symphony ruclips.net/video/WgItDrcgWCU/видео.html
Thank you for this helpful contribution!
Alex Higgins on triangle.

After hearing Bychkov's version this one feels lifeless.

Entire performance sounds to me totally "uninvolved", no tension, drama, passion... the musicians only play notes
That's right. The fact that the conductor conducts in a very detached manner does not seem to me to be the problem. But the musicians...
