Thanks for the video. New to this stump grinding and I’m loving it. I have several Locusts stumps and trailing roots to grind. I have to watch out for those thorns!
Dude, I can’t believe you made this so quickly. This is the time I need for only one of those. I will try the race car thing on my next silver maple. I normally follow the root but it making long wood chips that are harder to pickup with the shovel.
Nicely done, sure wish tree company's would leave me some equipment to use hahaha keep up the good work
I certainly enjoy your videos because you help the community get stronger from your experiences. Cheers from the Bulldog 🍻
Thanks 👍
Roots from pines and locust here are a pain in the butt to grind
Just did 20 or so for a customer
Nice video as usual, I bring massive roots the same way. Grind all roots 1st then grind out the stump itself. Keep’m coming brother
Thanks, will do!
Divide and conquer
Great job. Sometimes root chasing can be a pain. Having that mini skid is a lifesaver though when dealing with that much volume of chips.
I asked him to leave it LOL for me
@@mustangrebuilder good call on your part lol
You won the T shirt so tell me what size mustangrebuilder@gmail.com
@@mustangrebuilder thanks Adam. I sent you a message.
Grind away! I always hit any surface roots first so they are easy to find. Got the sg 40 pushing 1000 hrs of grinding and a kabota scl1000 to do the heavy lifting!
Amazing job Adam! Thanks for the great advice 👍🏾
Glad it was helpful!
I'm glad we don't have too many like that in Ohio, at least I haven't seen too many, worst ones I see are maples that make a giant hump under the main stump, but hey I just started back in November and really didn't know much (I still don't but I work my way through) you're videos have helped me so much, I was going to turn down some tip overs because I didn't have a clue how to attack them but I found your video and tried one and it wasn't that bad, I have a small machine an old 252 and I have a friend with a big pull behind Vermeer 50 ho or so, we trade off work depending on who fits best, but anyway your help is priceless to me, thank you
Thanks my friend
When the roots are spindly, is there a way to avoid breaking them into a thousand pieces? Picking those things up is back breaking.
Sometimes I just stay straight on them and chase them
So how do you price a tree stump like that with all of those roots? I know you usually price out the diameter but how do you do it with all those roots?
2 x the normal price
