Thank you..so much Dan! Your little war story gave me such am a-ha moment. It pretty much explains my Life and cause of my TMS! I lived in a religious lifestyle because of FEAR which created RAGE because I was forced to live in a War Zone. I have learned to manage the symptoms. When the pain and symptoms come..I accept..allow..and release the fear with self-soothing. BUT..I Really Need to Leave the War Zone! Thank You so much for this Insight. That little talk was truly inspirational For Me!
I'm not sure what your workflow is like putting these videos everyday. It may simpler to just rerecord, but an app like RX made by iZotope can remove noise like the one you describe quickly and easily.
Interesting - was not aware of that tool. At this point, it's record, create thumbnail and upload. If the production process gets too time consuming, the videos won't happen each day.
Just now catching up up on this video & it is the nail on the head for me! Thank you so very much! I had stoop having pain and much less pain med & I got sick , long story & dr put me on inhaler with steroids & made me nervous wreck now all the pain is back I’m getting off the inhaler but still waiting in dr to return phone call . I’m trying not to panic that I’ll have to start all over again. Any suggestions? I am doing some exercising. Thnx . I’m putting this video in my Favorites!
You never have to start all over again. We can pick up where we left off. Teach your brain you are okay. This video contains my suggestions: ruclips.net/video/3vJgBnrhFt8/видео.html
When I experience a high fear level, I do the tapping solution meditation. There a several different meditations but the point is to acknowledge the (in my case) the fear/anxiety and release it/letting it go. If I can’t do this, because I am somewhere outside, going about my day, I try my best to practice indifference. “It’s ok, it’s just TMS. There is nothing wrong with me. I am here for you.” Something like that.
I loved your "hello Marty"! Those are some of my favorite movies 😁 I think I will have to use that on myself when I start to notice fear or my increase in pain. Thanks again!
Dan, I absolutely need to tell myself to calm down when I sense that the pain is about to flare up, but then I have some thoughts about being back to square one, am trying
You can do it. The fastest way to get the pain flare to settle down is by responding in a very indifferent way. Without the fear, it will settle down much faster. :-)
Great. Thank you, Dan. Greetings from The Czech Republic, Covid 19 everywhere around me. I had a little flareup-definitely caused by the news-FEARful news. I have decided to quit the media and calm down. It gets much better.
Hello, yes fear, I did it so good. The minset of TMS. I was living again. But now i have for the thirt time cancer. And the fear is so great that i have lost everything i was doing to coping the pain. Next mandy i start with the radiotherapie for the cancer. Now i have so much pain. And can you give me a way to handle the fear?
I'm sorry to hear cancer keeps coming back. While challenging, I believe it's possible we can have fear and concern over cancer - but we don't need physical pain from TMS. The best thing we can do for TMS and our immune system is to get out of the stress response as much as possible. Breathe, meditate, nature, sunshine are all great ways to turn down the stress.
Dan, thanks again. Your so cool!
Haha - haven't been called cool in a while. Thank you!
Thanks for recording these and thanks for sharing your experiences.
Glad you like them!

Fantastic! A break from media is always a good thing. They shouldn't be called the news. They should be called BAD NEWS. Nothing but fear.
