Hemicuda Rally 2023 - SS2: Kortemark 1 - all cars - mistakes and 2 retirements (raw footage)

The first stage on Sunday of the 22nd Hemicuda Rally, a 1st pass on SS Kortemark.
The stage was 12.17 km long and was won by Bjorn Syx (2, Citroën C3 Rally2) in 8:00.4 (avg 91.2 km/h). He was 19.5 seconds faster than Gunther Monnens (1, Porsche 991 GT3) and Jim van den Heuvel (7, Renault Clio Rally3).

After the retirement of Andy Lefevere (3, Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) who rolled in the fast section right before this location, Bjorn Syx is now in the lead, already 29.8 seconds before Jim van den Heuvel who is impressively second. Kurt Boone is currently 3rd on +36.9, also impressive for his 1st rally in a R5 car (which he bought only 5 days ago!)

Mistakes in the video:
24:20 Nick Couvreur (122, Opel Ascona B) is in the field on the outside of the corner, but can continue
26:26 Jeroen Decock (79, Peugeot 208 R2) is also in the field on the outside of the corner, but can continue
29:22 (in the background) we see Christophe Lagache (107, Opel Ascona B) retire, he damaged his intercooler some corners earlier. See end of the video for the damaged nose of the car
32:50 Devy Demuynck (77, BMW E30) gets stuck in the ditch on the outside of the corner. Luckily he gets out with spectator help before the next car arrives.
36:17 Paul Vanthournout (113, Opel Manta B) takes the turn without handbrake, which obviously isn't ideal with this car :-) (I should mention that this is the first rally of Paul in 21 years time!)
47:13 Freddy Dekeersgieter (123, Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST205)) overshoots the corner and then after reversing randomly dumps all his coolant. He drives off but retired further down the stage. On the first stage yesterday evening, he also had to stop in a white smoke cloud from the coolant (in the results it isn't mentioned that he restarted today). (It is also Freddy's first rally in 13 years)
48:23 Dylan Pacco (127, Peugeot 106) has to retire with a broken gearbox
50:20 Frank Waffelaert (96, BMW 130i E87) takes the corner too wide and is in the field with the nose of the car, but he stops and reverses so can easily continue.
Thumbnail at 12:12 - Ashley Vercruysse (52, BMW E30) has driven fast on the first stage yesterday evening, for a good road position today to please the audience with big show :-)
