Great video... love a retro MTB! I remember them the first time around - cool bike. Great channel, by the way. Found your Deore DX M650 rebuild video really helpful as I've got one. I'm attempting a 'frankenbike', cobbling bits together that I started buying in lockdown. Got some lovely Manitou 4's...
Lovely job with the bike, the video was well shot and edited too, although you could do a better job with the sound, it jumps from very quiet to very loud and vice versa in a few places. Underrated channel.
Did you replace the axle grease? Its something that takes me allot of time but when i complete that task i feel like i saved the bike and wheel set for a good few years
Thanks for another great video. I have recently bought the same bike for restoration without a stem or seatpost. Do you happen to remember the sizes of the two? Am living in France and finding it expensive to source parts. Many thanks.
Nice build, these frames are so cool!
Nice job. I'm just about to start in on an Al-Mega DX rebuild and restore, so I really enjoyed your video. Thanks!
Don't forget to tuck the ends of the brake cables under the little notch on the side of the caliper...
@@brrrt6666 This wasn't my first rodeo 😉 Don't worry, all the little details were done.
Channel deserves more sub's honestly. Camera work is pretty good as well

Kl I got a manitou 4 that I need to replace elastos on. Video will be coming at some point. Hoping the elasto from another manitou will fit!

Yeh, it’s general maintenance I’ll pretty much do on all wheels that come my way
Beautiful Bike

Normalement c’est du 29.4 pour la tige de selle et 1 1/8 pouces soit 25.4 pour la potence.
