What do you think it means that the “days shall be shortened.”?
Will God intervene early?

I've taken it to mean that Christ will come before we destroy ourselves, before Satan has the opportunity to wipe us off the face of the earth.
I think the "shortening" of time is the coming of Christ.
How have you understood it?
