Given the Chiefs already had an IPP on the roster this always looked on the cards. Jacksonville makes a lot of sense for that reason, and the others you mentioned. Have him in the practice squad as IPP, bring him up to active for free at the London games. Huge publicity boost.
@@Peter-w7j oh yeah I believe he's going to be a beast. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite the chiefs in the ass. There's no doubt in my mind this guy is going to be good. It's just a matter of finding him a spot.
I switched from rugby union to Brittish American football. Ended up as middle line backer for a well known team. Zammit... As soon as your gut tells you to go back home to rugby do so brother.
When he got signed everyone was WHOA!!! this is awesome the CHIEFS! I was erm he has to replace someone with a Superbowl ring or two to get on that squad and fight off a load of other good experienced players trying to get into that squad
If we leave CEH i understand why LRZ is not their. Veach go for Perine its ok move. I love the LRZ experiment because opens many doors in the playbook and in the market. I understand that the chiefs have many pieces in the roster and its very hard to make the 53 and PS
On his IG 12 out of the last 22 posts are Chiefs related and still there. Maybe Andy put a good word into Doug for him, He was trying to get into the Superbowl champions team and they are going all in on a 3 peat.
This is just like a 3 year NFL vet to go over to Europe and start playing Rugby.....just don't translate

Aahhh, because he is not a seasoned football player ???? Zammit is a quality rugby union player. The games are different. As an American living in the UK for over 35 years; again I say the games are different.
I few have hinted at it... He's an elite, ambitious athlete. His mindset and expectation would have been that he would be contributing alongside the best. He'll be in a mental battle at the moment as he will not be content with perceived failure. Does he throw in the towel and return to rugby greatness back home? Or does he persevere and prove to the world, himself, and his late father, that he conquered top-flight American Football? Only he can decide.
He was never and never will be a running back maybe receiver with his rugby skills that’s his best chance. As a Scot I don’t want to see him in the Welsh red because he is a seriously talented rugby player we can do with not facing in the Six Nations.
Agreed ,but that demonstrates how ill-conceived this stunt was . LRZ needed a practice squad /odd appearance for the 2024 season .KCC needed to threepeat ,a huge task . Neither needed this tie up . Pre season laid it bare. Besides the blocking was so bad it looked more like he was still playing rugby ,with no assistance. Lost all 3 games is telling they had a sharp reality check . If the catcher in week1 had smaller feet, they would have lost their first game too .
If each play takes 5 seconds actual playing time then the clock ticks for say 15 seconds (average, allowing for the clock stopping on some plays) and if the team has the ball for 30 min then 90 plays then 7 and a half minutes a game where he might (or might not) get the ball, very roughly on an average team.
Just not good enough, no shame in that most aren’t. Christian Wade was more talented, imho, and never made it, I can totally get how the skill positions are super hard to pick up on the fly.
Well done dad you've cost a great rugby player 2 years of international rugby because you were selfish & liked a silly game with an average game play time of 1.5 seconds .!!! Star struck dad envy Probably an English spy.
Answer: cos the whole thing was a bs publicity ploy anyway. He’s burning the best years of his rugby career to boost UK NFL merch sales by 0.001%. What a crock.
What’s surprising about it 😂 I knew he wasn’t making it from day 1, started playing football 5 months ago. Nobody should care that he’s in Jacksonville IMO
I saw early in the process that he was trying to learn how to do quick change of direction movements…as soon as I saw that I figured he wouldn’t make it.
You've got to compare LRZ to jarryd Hayne who came from Australian rugby league to the 49ers in 2015/16. He made the 53 without playing before. Hayne did what LRZ couldn't? Why? Because I don't think LRZ has that dawg in him. Hayne was trucking guys, wicked cutbacks and stiff arms. LRZ is not that guy

I was really hoping he would make it. Some time things just don't work out. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the ass.
He's not finished yet. It takes time as AF is a technical sport

Why is LRZ no longer a Chief?
Answer:
Carson Steele
💯

That's really the bottom line. He's new in the sport and looking for a spot on a team that won two rings in a row, 3 in 5 years.
Welcome to the jaguars. I hope he can be useful as a special-teamer.

Bye chiefs go Jags #welshfan #LRZ 🏴🥰
Not quite good enough to be fair, good luck with the Jags.

Short sighted by chiefs. Better for LRZ. Jags play in london 2x a year.

All publicity is good publicity
KC got the headlines
LRZ got the hype
...done

Hernandez Thomas Moore Brian White Anthony
He wasn’t given any chance during games, the last preseason game was a disgrace, no playing time in the first three quarters

Offer of trail/going to Chiefs was hard to turn down but not a great choice if you want a better chance of getting a slot in the roster….?
The Jags also own Fulham Football club they get marketing but Chiefs move from the project
He didnt delete all references to KC on his Social Media. Keep it real please...
Brown Robert Martin Ronald Clark Joseph
Clark Paul Martinez Robert Rodriguez Jeffrey
Williams Jeffrey Jones Brian Perez Patricia
Just how many minutes did he play in the games.... If fact how long is the average playing time for a player on the field of play.🤔
During regular season starters play the full game and for preseason everyone kind of gets a turn and if you're lucky you play the full quater

Clickbait Central. Don’t waste your time. No reason is given.
