Easy Spider Web Effect- Easter Cake Decorating Tutorial

  • A little hack for you guys that I like to use in stead of mirror glaze ;) Mirror glaze is a tedious recipe that requires exact temperature and lots of ingredients and prep. This video offers 2 simple ingredients as a pour over that literally takes less than 3 minutes to make, and a recipe for piping gel which can be created in 5 minutes.
    To cover a 6" cake:
    WHITE CHOCOLATE GANACHE- 120 grams heavy cream, 340 grams white chocolate (I normally make white choc ganache with a 1:3 ratio, but I wanted this one to be a little more runny than usual, so I added a tad extra cream).
    PIPING GEL- 2/3 of a cup of water, 1.5 tablespoons sugar, 1.5 tablespoons glucose syrup, 1 tablespoon corn starch.
