    Im a canuck fan and i sadly dont see him winning the calder but im EXTREMELY happy that we got a possible 40+ goal scorer in the future

      The Trapper he's still very much in it, just cause Barzal has more points doesn't mean he's gonna win. Barzal has like 8 points his last 2 games and is just above a PPG that's obvs not sustainable, Boeser is 1 point under a ppg and has been cold. I could see McAvoy winning cause he's already a top 30 dman in the league as a rookie. Points don't win it exclusively it's what you do for the team. McAvoy might be the biggest game changer in terms of rookies, Boeser has brought life and hope back to Vancouver and has put the teams offense on his back and Barzal has been a good 2nd line option for NY. Those 3 are who I expect to see in Vegas for the award ceremony.
