Thanks for making this video - I plan to stop using Adobe apps but am stuck with Premiere Pro till May next year. Wonder what the comparisons are in respect to drawing and making layered psd files
With regards to layered psd files. What aspect it are you interested in? Both do masks, selections, adjustments etc...Affinity mainly lacks the select subject AI, and generative AI tools. Other than that both do the same things.
I’m new to LRC & PS coming fromLR6 & the AP-V1. I like the impainting & clone tools in AP better than PS. Haven’t decided yet but eventually might try C1 & AP-vs 2 to go without a subscription.
PS actually is promoting generative AI nowadays. It can remove larger stuff with AI. C1 is excellent...I own it as well. Best to wait for Black Friday for a discount.
@@takebetterphotos8132 I almost went for C1 when they had it on sale for $150-US. Waiting to see if I upgrade my camera to a mirrorless first so don’t have to upgrade again if newer model than C1 has.
@@takebetterphotos8132iPad PS is insanely watered down, and it just sucks, period. Af Photo on iPad is almost identical to the desktop version. It’s awesome.
Affinity 2.6 Had Subject selection Object selection tool Adjustment pant has hsl adjustments This is a bias review affinty 2.6 has ai tools like object selection you just not fully doing research on both sides
The algorithms behind Photo editing software are not invented by Adobe, they are publicly available. Nothing special if you understand pixel level editing.
And the new update beta 2.6 has object selection

Pretty easy comparison, one steals all your intellectual property and one doesn't.
