I feel so stressed trying to do RUclips, TikTok, and IG… lol I can only do one at a time. TikTok is easier with growth but I feel like RUclips you really can grow a community which I don’t really find that on TikTok that often

I've been posting 1-2 videos per day (shorts) and reposting that same video on TT, Twitter, LI, Insta Reels, FB Reels. That's worked for me up to this point. Long form content will come next!

I feel that it was best for me to get the "hang" of making videos on RUclips first then extend outward to TT and IG. Yeah it can be stressful but we have to go at our own pace yet with consistency..

The day you posted the video about quitting your job I called my boss to inform him that I would no longer work in his company. Your words gave me courage to make that call. but then all my fears came in and eventually didn’t leave my job. But I was watching all your videos throughout the year and saw the transition you went through. Now, almost a year later, I finally quit my job and I’m confident to say that you really paved the way for others who have all these fears to know what to do next, i love your energy and will be forever grateful for the life lessons you have taught me and everyone watching your videos.

Lynette, I started watching you when you quit your job and you have inspired me since to quit my minimum wage job for a better paying, more social hours job, started creating content and going on my journey. The past year I stopped making content due to being in a toxic relationship, but now I’m out of that I’m watching this video and I feel so inspired to pick up where I left off and continue on this journey. Thank you for inspiring me, thank you for continuously showing up for yourself and inspiring me to do the same, you’re amazing! Xxx

So I just quit my job like yesterday. And I wanted to get on yt to see if anyone had videos on this topic to see if anyone felt the same as I do. I started with your video from last year right when you quit. It helped me to see that I wasn’t alone I’m not crazy. You just feel that it’s right. There’s something else that is meant for you. That there’s options and you don’t have to settle for traditional jobs. Even before I left. I would look at indeed and realize. I don’t want to do none of that. I would also love to create content. Definitely am going on a self care journey. So why not film it. Hopefully help someone else. And now I have the time to do it that’s not half ass. So thank you.

I’ve been off of work from my corporate job since May of 2021 on medical leave and have no desire on going back. In that time frame I focused on my businesses and content creating. I have no desire to go back because I have no desire to do it anymore and I would work 10-16 hour days often getting burnt out with work alone on top of being a mom. Good for you on getting out and finding what works for you. I love redemption stories and I wish you much success, well us success. Keep up the good work babe you got this 🙏🏾❤️.

If only a lot more content creators, e-commerce business owners, and anyone using a digital platform for income would just be realistic and honest about the start, the beginning and truth about the journey. I truly believe if so we wouldn't have as many depressed people or people suffering mental health problems. It takes time and it's work. Yes it can be successful for you ( having a successful digital platform) simply do the work and give it time. Thanks Lynette. I think this video of yours will help those who are depressed about numbers, likes, followers and comments. This video topic is so honest, raw, truthful and straight. A dream, want, need or desire can be real and it can come true put in the work and give it time to happen. Such a healthy wealth of information in this video. 0:24 👏 wow that's awesome. I graduated during the shut down of 2020 as well after finally going back to school at age 39... the p@ndemic seemed to have knocked me off my course due to the lapse between graduating and not being able to just jump into my career due to everyone in the field being laid off, my internship and career path was thrown off... instead of finally graduating and finally doing the career I dreamed of all my life. I graduated and returned back to my job at a theme park.
Now back in the pay check to pay check, 9to5 hampster wheel life I feel even worse than before I graduated college. and also I feel further away from my dreams than I did before college. Its like before I thought I wasn't successful in life cus I didn't finish college, but to finish and still work minimum wage sucks...I too jumped back into youtube in 2020, but for two years ive labored over my channel and now two plus years later I'm just now seeing a small amount of growth...so I know how tough and scary it could be, and for you to have made it is no small accomplishment...

Other key takeaways from this video:

It's really cool that you've gotten to this point - but also that you were so passionate about it before you got to this point. I think I was here when you were at about 20,000 :)

I'm still early on my own and sometimes I get impatient and want to see things grow but I need to remember everything comes with time, effort and hard work. Really needed this.

Lynette, I want to thank you for honestly helping me change my mindset on a lot of things in my life. Watching your videos day in and day out one help me get out of a really bad mental spot. As well as help me take a spiritual approach to everything that I do. I even preach to my friends how “everything is spiritual and you have to approach everything with love” and that is because of you. Although, I still struggle to get back into posting my own personal content and taking off on my own journey, I just want to thank you for the inspiration you’ve had on me personally 🖤

I've been watching your channel since you were at around 40k and that was only like a year ago, you've grown so much and thank you for being so honest and open about it! I'm not sure if I wanna do this full-time but the idea is really exciting 💛 I have a question around creating a company/llc when you first get monetized is a good idea?
