I really like your reviews, so nice to have someone go through all the inks of a certain brand systematically instead of just highlighting some. Especially with this level of production quality. Keep it up! (and good luck if you ever decide to go through all the Noodler's or Diamine inks)
I appreciate the idea that sometimes a nice, well-behaved and middle-of-the-road blue ink is just what’s needed. My go-to blue is R&K Permanent Blue, absolutely nothing special about this ink except that there is absolutely nothing special about it :)
It is a bit light for my taste but very adequate. I've got it very cheap on sale, and I am using it in my Parker Sonnet with Medium nib almost exclusively. Nice flow, dries quickly, writes pretty well even on a printer paper. My favourite blue is still Diamine Royal Blue, which is very bright, true blue, this one is more muted and pale in comparison. Good replacement of Waterman Blue, which I don't particularly like.
Hi Sir! I used this ink with my pilot metropolitan, but the color was VERY LIGHT Blue. Is it bcoz I am writing with a fine nib? Do u have any hack for this?!
Nib width and feed flow can result in a lighter shading profile. As can speed of writing. Using the ink in a wetter pen may result in the shade you are looking for.
That was an initial failed experiment. I’m working on finding a way to make something like that more beneficial for my subscribers and to the channel/community as a whole.

Interesting review. I have the Pilot black and Pilot Blue. These are great, everyday inks that do what it says on the bottle.
My pleasure 😊 Great review 👍

Really liked using this in my pilot penmanship, already ran out of the cartridges so I'll sure be looking into getting a bottle.
loving the ink reviews pal, keep it up :)
I find the term “blind cap” confusing.
I have pens with blind caps where you have to remove the cap to get to the control knob.
That is the case here.
That’s a great standard blue. I always keep a bottle on hand. Great review!
I like the color but the bleedthrough on cheap paper makes it not a good option for me. Going back to my Waterman serenity blue
I bought a bottle of Pilot blue-black. It is now my favorite ink.
Yea I'm getting the 300ml something botttle lmao after this 30 ml ran out. This ink is so great it got me addicted to writing
Hey 🙂 you say 4 out of 5, what would be your perfect 5 for a Blue ink with some water resistance?
That is a good question... I had one, but I can’t remember the name...I’ll probably revisit this on QCC 2
Is their blue black a mix of their blue and blank (meaning I could mix it at home)?
You could in theory, but definitely mix a small batch first to test for adverse reactions.

@@TheInkedWell thanks for the information. Is 'platinum preppy medium nib' a wetter pen?
@@GRJism yes. Platinum preppies are known for being wet.
Good video sir can I refill it in my pilot v5 I ask the ink is the same
I did an experiment with a V5...unfortunately the results were not promising.
@@TheInkedWell so what type of ink used in pilot v5
They must have a different formulation aside from that used in fountain pens than that of the v5
what happened to ur discord?
