I am not wedded to the burrito method as I have only done it once. This was super clear and quick. One thought: I think I will staystitch first-not that I have always done it, but I know I should and I have been trying to do it when I do necklines especially. Thanks for sharing this method!

Haha! I know exactly what you mean! When I was new to sewing shirts there wasn’t any easy method for this step and you were supposed to turn under the edge on the inside and top stitch. I was terrible at that! So I figured this out. i was determined! I felt like I was cheating so I didn’t even tell the women who sewed around me at the fabric shop 😂 until one was like... Seriously. How did you do this? And then I admitted my shortcut. And I’ve never stopped using it.
This is exactly how they do it in professional factory production. Your videos are all in professional method yet achievable. I’m very much impressed. I’m not a westerner, don’t live in US or EU or Australia…etc., and to be honest, don’t get me wrong. I’m not want to be rude. But I think People from outside western societies are better at sewing. Why? Because there’s NO commercial patterns. If we want to sew, we need to actually start from scratch. Not just lay out patterns and do whatever instructed. And there’s no time for something quirky like burritos method. Those seamstresses that I know gonna say just “roll it”.

IME the burrito method really stretches out bias edges when pulling it through, so I'm excited to try this method on my next shirt. 😊

How would you finish neck edge off without a collar.
One of the Neckline finish videos would have a good solution: Binding on the Inside, binding on both sides or a facing.

This is the “I will not hand sew my yokes under any circumstances” method 😂 since that what’s they did in the 90s!
They still do it in factories.
