When he paused before saying "formally become engaged to you" - it's the same when he asked her hand for marriage on the last part of the movie. This soldier who is very brave to fight in the face of battle was a bit scared when it comes to love. And that smile of Kudo when Miyo said she wanted to stay ❤❤❤. I can feel how relieved he was 😊
He touched her forehead so that she would look at him. He touched her tears when she cried in her sleep. He touched her and hugged her to wake her up from a nightmare. He touched her to carry her out of a burning building after she was abused for hours. He touched her to hug her as she fell to her knees after saving his life. Finally, he touched her heart and she touched his. Beautiful story. I am looking forward to Part 2 of their story.
