STORY: Nerys is a beautiful Grisha girl, with a unique ability. Known as 'the equinox' she can manipulate both sun and shadow. Although she can use both neither are strong enough on their own. Growing up from a young age in the Little Palace had its perks and fond memories. Memories of running amok within the grand palace with the Puppy Prince (Nikoli). As time flew by their friendship only grew. Keeping her feelings at bay is a regret Nerys has struggled with but when every move she makes was being watched by the Darkling it was hard to fall in love. Finding her ability to control light was something The Darkling fixated on, believing that she could undo the fold one day, but unfortunately, that was not the case. No matter how she tried she was just not strong enough but the foolish girl fell into the trap of the Darkling. Falling hopelessly in love with his charms, Nerys eventually accepts his advances even to the point where marriage was proposed. Nikoli had long since gone, fighting in the frontlines just beyond the fold. Although she gave her heart to the Darkling, her love for Nikoli lingered. Jealousy and control ruined the Darkling and Nerys' love. An amplifier was gifted to the girl and embedded within her in the form of a small chained bracelet. Controlled entirely but the bond of her husband. (Will flesh this out more eventually).
