hey idk if you still check comments but i took my center console off today and realized i don’t have a yaw sensor on my z like a previous owner removed it and tucked the wire away with some tape so does that mean it’s always off or what because i don’t have any lights on my dash when i turn on my car
How did you get that diagram, I have a 2007 g35 and the wires on every video I seen are different colors and I don’t wanna cut a wire I shouldn’t cut can you please let me know how can I search up a diagram for my car
For a true “drift” car, you’re going to want to do the pin 101 as well. It’s a separate mod from this as it deals with the ABS system. You can follow the instructions for this video and apply them to the pin 101 mod as well. Just wire a switch in line with pin 101 and boom - you now have a switch that disengages ABS.
Pull the center console out.The Yaw sensor is right behind the ashtray. The WHITE wire with a RED strip is the ground wire for the Yaw sensor. All you have to do is cut that wire and put a switch in it's place. doesn't matter what kind. I used a seat heater switch to keep an OEM look. But when the switch is ON, you are keeping the sensor grounded. When you turn the switch OFF, it pulls the ground from the YAW sensor, thus turning off Traction Control and YAW control. Ever since I cut that wire, my slip and vdc light stay on. I even put them back together to no avail. So now I’m not sure what to do
Wait, you reconnected the wire… and it still doesn’t work? That’s incredibly odd. Did you disconnect the battery while doing this?
When you do this, do you still have the throttle cut when you try to launch the car?
Do your brake lights still work when you turn off VDC?
Yes they do. Works fine if done this way.

Any reason why you selected the ground vs the 12v to run the switch ?
Not really. If given the option, pulling the ground would give you less of a chance to pop a fuse by accident vs using the power wire.
@@FranknbeansCamaro Oh I see, like if the 12v wire somehow shorted after the install. Thanks for the info!
For what it’s worth, I wired my switch to the 12v and have had zero issues. Cheers.
did you do the "pin 101" mod as well? or just the yaw switch. Cheers
Just the switch. No clue what the pin 101 mod is.

You do not see how you installed the VDC button as is the process
If you can't follow the wire diagram I talked about in the video, you shouldn't touch your car.
and how could I get that diagram?

Thanks for the data
