I’ve been watching your show for over a year, so it, and 7 days there this past March on a life style visit has convinced us we need to spend winters in “The Villages, Florida”. Summers in Montana, winters in Florida…the best of both worlds. Win! Win!

Linda, have Jerry check the filter screen in the bottom of the dishwasher. We were having the same problem. I pulled and cleaned the filter screen and it made a big difference. Oh, about putting in a sofa bed, this a great idea. Just make sure that it’s not too comfortable, we don’t want folks to stay too long 😅.
My Villages utilities for a 9000 sq foot Pi shaped lot North of 466 are $233.93 fixed and $52.20 Variable. I have a pool. I own a rental in OBG and Villages Utilities are $200.54 fixed and $5.29 Variable. The rental Is occupied by a single long term renter. Thanks for all the good work you do.

Linda, the film on your dishes is the calcium which is in our water. Florida water is high in calcium. You need to add a water softner system to your water filtration system
"Backyard gators" "The Villages" is a great place to live. Most places you have to travel to the store to get your food. In The Villages, the food comes to you. It's a Win Win situation! 😜 We had a black lab mix that would ring a small bell on the door knob when he needed to go out. You guessed it, we would give him a treat when he came back in. Labs are smart, we had to ditch the bell idea.

Have you guys or anyone thought about painting your lawns? I’ve been doing it here at my home on Long Island for years. You save a a lot of money on water and fertilizer. It’s is also kid and pet safe. Im retired and im gonna come down mid July to do a lifestyle visit and see the villages. When I lived here in 2011-12 I banked with Citizens First Bank when I moved back to Tennessee I kept them because I like the bank so now I’ve been back for a year I didn’t have to worry about changing banks
I'm a volunteer on the estate/moving sale team in my retirement community in NE FL (500+ residents). We do all the work and keep a % of the proceeds for community activities. It's fun but lot of work. We often find items that still have the price tag from where the resident bought it at one of our previous sales and never used it. Sofa beds are especially hard to sell, but that's usually because of how heavy they are and the fabric pattern. (I recommend that you get a solid, neutral color, if you think you'll ever want to resell it.)

I’m with Linda - in my old house (LOL) I had a room I called my study. I had the home computer in there, most of my books, a sofa/sleeper, and a little coat closet. It was perfect for a guest room when we had company but a nice getaway when the hubby and kids were watching a loud movie in the family room.
Because I'm off today (Monday) for Memorial Day, I forgot what day it was and thought you released it early again. LOL! I guess today has a Sunday vibe for me since I'm not working.

I looked for you two last Monday, didn't see you and was shocked. Found out from another fan of yours that it was posted on Sunday! No problem, as long I was still able to find you. The bloopers with that clacker was hilarious! You two are a riot! I have been a member of a Credit Union in NY for 52 years and stayed with them after I moved here. I also belong to a 2nd Credit Union here in The Villages. I've heard so much about that Boozy Bingo. I think I will try it sometime. Looks like Gizmo is feeling better and that's great. The older Sun City in Phoenix, Arizona area is similar but has a different recreation scheme with fewer facilities and more hired staffs for those. Also aging infrastructure and heat in the Summer. The On Top of the World development in Ocala is trying hard to resemble a smaller The Villages but is expensive and has higher fees, with many fewer amenities. So my opinion is even what used to be known as Leisure World near Los Angeles, California is not equivalent to The Villages. One of a kind.
Up north of 466 we water the lawn with city water (potable), that is the way it is set up no retention ponds. The down side is we have to pay sewer on that also.
I would guess that no other 55+ community has 3 squares with live music, a pool in every small neighborhood and the selection of executive and championship golf courses here in The Villages.
I’m really enjoying watching your channel. We live in Az and are very much considering a move to the villages. I’m learning all I can to help make the decision 🤩
Nice video as always. Loved the bloopers today the best. Had me laughing a while. According to Google gators / crocodiles they can run up to 20 to 30 mph for short distance. In the water their speed can be 20 mph. So don't let these wild animals fool you. 😮 blessings
It's mating season and the pictures of gators are everywhere. And there are some really big Gators here. There's been a couple of 8-10 Footers sighted around this neighborhood in Deluna. I always pay attention because I have two small dogs. But I have a veranda with a fence all around and very high retention walls on the sides with the shorter fence. So I'm pretty safe. But a Floridians friend of mine told me that alligator do climb fences

We love cruising Hayden and Lamar Valleys. Its getting hard to afford rental cars and hotels there nowdays.

There is a wall that's hard to get through regarding insurance. Sometimes you don't have a clue until you're not renewed.

I also belong to a 2nd Credit Union here in The Villages. I've heard so much about that Boozy Bingo. I think I will try it sometime. Looks like Gizmo is feeling better and that's great. The older Sun City in Phoenix, Arizona area is similar but has a different recreation scheme with fewer facilities and more hired staffs for those. Also aging infrastructure and heat in the Summer. The On Top of the World development in Ocala is trying hard to resemble a smaller The Villages but is expensive and has higher fees, with many fewer amenities. So my opinion is even what used to be known as Leisure World near Los Angeles, California is not equivalent to The Villages. One of a kind.
Up north of 466 we water the lawn with city water (potable), that is the way it is set up no retention ponds. The down side is we have to pay sewer on that also.

I would guess that no other 55+ community has 3 squares with live music, a pool in every small neighborhood and the selection of executive and championship golf courses here in The Villages.

Nice video as always. Loved the bloopers today the best. Had me laughing a while. According to Google gators / crocodiles they can run up to 20 to 30 mph for short distance. In the water their speed can be 20 mph. So don't let these wild animals fool you. 😮 blessings
It's mating season and the pictures of gators are everywhere. And there are some really big Gators here. There's been a couple of 8-10 Footers sighted around this neighborhood in Deluna. I always pay attention because I have two small dogs. But I have a veranda with a fence all around and very high retention walls on the sides with the shorter fence. So I'm pretty safe. But a Floridians friend of mine told me that alligator do climb fences
