With bio taking less damage from zerg units after the nerf it looks like MMM is the way to go. Bio is surviving longer than before, what is enough to turn the balance.

Let's just call Cure "Rocky" since he takes a beating and keeps on fighting. In the first game at around 20:22, there were 4 separate battles being fought on the map.

Sometime I wish there was a friendly damage tab to see how much Terran more than often blast their own units off :'D
It feels like that's how most of the high tier Zergs win ZvT. Either take control of the units and actively use them against the Terran or induce splash damage to passively make Terran kill their own units (mines, tank shots)
Imagine if banelings did friendly fire like every other explosive ability in the game :P
@@DSzaks Then they'd be useless. They already suicide if they did splash damage then you would have to micro them in small groups or only use drops.

Colossi, Lurkers, phungus/parasitic bomb and probably some others should be subject to it. Maybe not banelings though since they've to reach melee compared to others.

i never whine about balance as we all picked the race we think is stronger. been away from sc2 for years came back and now play random for fun.
my progress with t was by far thr quickest, my lowest win percentage is vs t and i dont even like the way they play.
T has too many inexplicably powerful and numerous solutions to some of the best units
@@PV-pw8bfTerran just plays itself. You don't need specific build orders since any unit is super good. You also don't really need to macro well since their macro mechanic is the easiest of all 3 races. You don't need to think about compositions. You don't really need to micro like a madman since all the Terran units trade efficiently... That's how bad the balance is actually 😊

@@AntiDoctor-cx2jd That's always been the story. At launch, Terran was even more broken than they are right now.... And all of Blizzard's first nerfs were for Zerg, who had by FAR the lowest winrate.
Zerg has always been both the hardest to play, and the weakest race. However, they have always had highest reward for player skill (skillcap.) It makes them impossible to balance, because if a zerg player is head-and-shoulders above everyone else (Fruitdealer, Life, SoO, NesTea, Serral) their winrate isn't just slightly higher, they basically can't be beaten... But for the bottom 99% of zergs, they are just playing on hard mode because the race is both harder and weaker.
Cure just uses Widow mines as short range artillery and completely ignores any consequences of friendly fire.
fear not, friend! not only do I happen to like games casted by you and jimbo, you're the only caster I still really watch, after watching SC2 content from the start. You're glorious. Keep shining =)

@@AntiDoctor-cx2jd Yea the ghost 'nerf' for example is much less of a thing than the last nerf. At least the snipe target drop range meant Zergs don't lose EVERYTHING if they decide to cancel an engage right after they enter it's range. The emp nerf though is pretty much nothing, just asking Terran's to move their mouse a slight bit more in-between spam clicks for emps.
G1 was incredible. non stop action, both players were rebuilding their armies at the same rate as their losses, very impressive. At some point there was like 4 battles at the same time all around the map ! are they AI with USB port on they neck ?
Looks like the nerfs are hitting the zergs as intended.
never understood why against mass zerglings, Terrans ONLY build widow mines that can also kill their own units, and not a few hellbats for extra soak and splash damage
widow mines are disgustingly OP terran just doesn't have a brain because they have 3x as many OP units as other races. Also mules allow terran to have larger armies than any other race in the game.
This is why there is 3x as many terran players in the top 100 as any other race.
@@villz1267 You're just ranting. Terran is more forgiving, not necessarily easier. While I agree that widow mines are strong, they can be used against you.
Zerg is the OP race, but you definitely need the skill to pull it off.
Protoss is definitely the weakest of the lot, often acting as bullet sponges without offering enough DPS, and just wins because they can just spawn their army at the front lines before you can replace your lost units.

Creep should provide detection for enemy units burrowed into it. If not for cloaked ground units period.
Plot Twist: Cure rallied those Medivacs for a drop but forgot to load them up with marines, unintentionally creating that fakeout. Truly the PEOPLE'S TERRAN 😂

Im a diamond z, for once i tried out T, since i have struggled against it. Couldnt kill gold T but could easily kill plat z, while i had 2.5 bases and he had half the map.
In my opinnion T is the counter for Z. Very nasty race.
And i agree its hard mode. People who pick z as main race are more ambitious. Victory just tastes much better!!
I'm rooting for herO this time cause I think protoss needs a win. But I suppose a Dark vs Cure finals is much more realistic.

I notice that the Reactor upgrade for Medivac is worthless as none of the Pro players use it. I'm not even sure why it's needed myself.
Maybe the Medivac speed was too good? but Terrans didn't get it often anyways so idk

After patch terran is quite strong, I don't play anymore as the meta was super stale to me. But watching most ZvT's that you cast just looks not right. To think they nerfed zerg last patch too..

I skipped every game to the end, watched on 2x, and downvoted. SC2 is not gonna get more viewers, it's not a strategy game, it's a micro battle, every match is the same. Boring as fk, except for the few remaining players that can't let it go.
I brought burritos, popcorn additives make my stomach rot from the insane.

Terran is so broken I'm sick of it. Literally getting incredibly outplayed but the absurdity of their race drags out games until the opposing race makes one mistake and loses.
I even main terran.

I see so many comments about Terran being overpowered in the comments. I wonder what league these guys are with Terran. Just curious. If it is so OP, Terran should be a lightning speed ride to Masters or GM. 😮. (FYI I play Terran and I cannot get past Diamond like ever 😢 so I feel bad 😔)

I watched my diamond Apex friend landed in Bronze in OW. Game sucks. You can’t even solo everyone using aim. No strategy is needed, nothing there to learn. Just need to quit the game. Honestly, that’s probably better if the game makes you feel that bad.

You can make your case if you make a clear and concise complain and not being a rude, angry citizen, and the start is directly addressing the situation in the video, like what minute, what game are you talking about, instead of low input stuffs like “Byun suck, Maru suck, Cure is mediocre, anyone but Serral suck, Pro Protoss are just bad”. Like what does that even prove? Nothing. You just show contempt to prove your point, and it never gonna come across as any legit complain other than angry boo into the air.
Game design sucks, if that so, you can make detail case about it, like how do you address the economic curve between races, everyone knows Zerg is the fastest expanding race. Terran is like the slowest expanding race, that, for example, can be very relevant to the issue. Instead of saying “but Terran can ignore economic damage by spamming mules” meanwhile completely ignore how Terran get to that point.
In the strategy game, you find a strategy to win, not asking the devs to allow you to win in a certain way lol.
If all the options have been exhausted, then you can complain, and be specific about your situation. Like what skill level are you, for example, if you can only watch like 1 screen every half a minute and never check mini map and die to a random ass widow mine drop, who is the problem? You or the widow mine?
Btw, I hate mines, I hate disruptors and I hate viper and infestors too. All of them are obnoxious to play against at a certain degrees. Next are DT, Ghosts and Lurker.
The problem here is that, this is a competitive games, the units are supposed to be annoying to deal with because they are all designed to help you win the game.

I remember one was teased and was supposed to be released years ago. Think it was named Ghost or something but it just disappeared.
New to the scene and have a some questions. Do pro players get to choose those “perks” or are they assigned at random? Are they race specific? Is it in the actual game or is this a modded/special server? Does the other player get to see what they choose before the match starts, when the match starts, after the match ends, or not at all?
Those aren't real. They are pure flavor Winter puts on their "cards" based on their playstyle and personalities. None of them actually exist. They're just for laughs.
Like the guy said before me, theyre just jokes made by winter.

WM is a brainless all-arounder unit. Who in his right mind gives it the ability to shoot air AND onehit units AND reload? Imagine tanks being able to shoot air and ground.
On the other side, viper is a 1-click-kill unit, and any expensive unit against Z is a liability. Zero strategy, dumb back and forth running around clusterfk of a game.
If you use them, you’re a scoundrel, if you don’t, you’re an idiot, great unit design

I genuinely don't understand why people think Terran is op. I have no skin in the game, but every single engagement Terran loses almost everything or has to immediately run away. If Terran ever has the advantage, it takes another 10 min of perfect play to actually win. On the other hand, when Terran is losing, the game is over. This is true every single time. Is there a Terran unit that isn't hard counter by Zerg, who by the way can build any unit, at any relevant time, in overwhelming quantities? Zerg also has spell casters that render entire Terran armies useless. Other than ghosts, what spell casters does Terran have? Terrans would obviously lose every late game if they didn't have ghosts, but I don't think there is a unit like that for Zerg. Honestly, what am I missing? Can a pro Terran player ever win as decisively as Dark did in game 3?

Giving terrans lurkers would break the bloody game!
Drops 2 medivacs or 4 lurkers in your main base, buries them in half a second and gg there goes your mining.
Same goes for banelings, give them to terrans and they'd maul their enemies, bane drops on workers, bane landmines and so on.
Also good luck using siege tanks as zerg or widow mines as zerg, you'd bury them and splash half your own army the death cause it's a melee army... Or hit like 2 marines cause terrans pre split.
@@villz1267 Ofcourse most Terrans would happily swap banelings for widow mines if they could produce banelings as fast as Zerg does. Just because they deal no friendly fire and they can kill buildings.

That last game. That’s how most sc2 games look like in lower leagues. Doesn’t take a pro like dark to do a baneling bust , any noob with half a brain can do that and beat a grandmaster terran/protoss. Sc2 might be “balanced” for pro play but in most cases for the lower leagues the zerg are completely broken and way to easy to win with as opposed to the other races.
A d2 terran can easily stop a scouted baneling bust. All races have an ebb and flow in the ladder. Theres a reason why there is a MASSIVE amount of zerg in d3 and never go above it. Because at d2 you know how to easily stop things like a baneling bust

@@yugonostalgia8961 No it doesn't, it makes it a roulette and a match feels like a waste of time when it's over 5 seconds after the first attack. Also this is the reason SC2 has such a tiny playerbase compared to any other genre of games.

I remember when sc2 was born. My fellows didn't like it very much and continued to play Brood War. But I decided to face it. So I know this game backwards. Yes, I am old and I am your real father. Vipers are imba against toss. Abducting motherships still makes my eyes bleed. There is no escape for any unit. Terrans are imba against everything else. Ghosts should have less HP. Mines and the stim pack urgently need to be nerfed. It's so obvious. Would be a nice refresh. I made popcorn to see a "beginner" beat tha hell out Dark.
Don't even bother nerfing stim, just nerf marauder slow and make boost cost energy. Also very much yes on ghosts having less hp, would mean more than a lot of these small or non-nerfs they been giving them.
