  • The morning stand is the most critical stand that you can create in your arsenal of annual hunting strategies. However, that's not all that an AM hunting stand provides. An appropriate collection of morning stands indicates the level of quality of your entire hunting design, whether you are hunting on private OR public land. The bottom line, you HAVE to have morning stands to hunt out of and here is how, why and where you need to have them....

    Jeff this is my fourth year hunting. I really applied your wisdom and was able to shoot a nice 7 pointer and a doe in early October. First time harvesting two. Thank you and keep doing what you’re doing.

    Just got back from a mule deer hunt out west. These same concepts apply. Mornings hunt where they’re coming back to bed. Evenings hunt where they’re headed to feed for the night. Thanks for putting out solid information Jeff!

      Thanks a lot Peter! They sure do apply. Crazy how so few develop morning stands in their private land!

    Late season hunting by far the best. Multiple deer this morning, harvested a big doe. No one is in the woods love it.

      Man that's a lot of fun this time of year...the peace and quiet, maybe a little snow. Just a special time to hunt!

    I sure enjoy seeing those deer your have up there, Jeff. Congrats to all your success this year. What I've got going is planting a hedge row on both sides of my new box blind. I'd like to slip in the back door when the wind is right. It's gonna be good.

    All great points Jeff. Like you it seems that my morning hunts seem to be more productive for mature bucks each year. Hunt them less but shoot more bucks in the morning. Hence my "Less is More" statement. Less pressure more success! Happy New Year to you guys.

    Another great episode of valuable information, hard to believe that another season is coming to a close.
    Can't wait to get to the woods to continue some habitat management that hopefully take our 2025 season to the next level!
    Happy New Years to the Whitetail Habitat Family.

    What slope angle is too steep for bucks to bed on?
    What slope angle do bucks prefer to bed on?

    • @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751
      @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751  3 дня назад

      They all prefer flat. But sometimes they are forced to bed in a slight angle...
      There is no difference between buck and doe ...

    Hey Jeff, how come you never talk about deer feeders, or mineral blocks as a food source?

  • @bigred.outdoors

    Does the same concept apply on 6 acres with bedding and food?

  • @rickwells1131
    @rickwells1131 3 дня назад

    I have 11 acres and the problem that I have is that there is a thick bedding area right in the middle of my property. Any thoughts 🤔?

    Hey Jeff , I know you get alot of comments and hard to answer all of them so i get it if ya don’t. What do you consider mid ag? I live in the southern tier of NY and It’s more so big woods, but ag near towns and some main roads. Neighbor has a 80 acre corn field bout 50 yards of property line so that’s the destination it works out perfectly. I also have food plots as well. One being 6 acres. Slowly making it smaller on the backside and once I do I’ll put another smaller one near my buckthorn

  • @frankyork170
    @frankyork170 4 дня назад +1

    Would you consider trails 10 foot wide 150 foot long with clover a food source ?

    • @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751
      @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751  4 дня назад

      Definitely a small hunting plot. I would only create that if it could hunt it safely as a stand location between bedding and a larger food source. I definitely would not want that food source IN a bedding area tho...

    Sooo if you don’t have a good Ninja into stand….is it only a afternoon stands? Very hard to access the 105ac property without trespassing(which I won’t do) so we are limited. I need lots of screening!!!

    • @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751
      @whitetailhabitatsolutions9751  3 дня назад

      Very easy to see up if done correctly. Food on an extreme side only....very easy to do on 10 acres, let alone on 105. The larger the parcel the easier it is to create several morning stands. Relocating food, shrinking food or getting rid of it all together is critical.

    You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

    I just want my deer to stop coming in 30 minutes before dark, bedding down all night and morning, causing me to spook them when walking in during the AM.
    (I only have a few acres to work with. Don’t have much options lol)
