- A sticky, sweet sauce just like your favourite American restaurant. Use as a marinade, top your burger for that TGI Fridays Jack Daniels taste or water down very slightly to make the original TGI Fridays dipping sauce.
Simply coat your food in the last 5 minutes of cooking, slam it on top of your burger or water down slightly as a dipping sauce, the choice is yours.

Ingredients
30ml of olive oil
1 small red onion
50ml of teriyaki sauce
1 large whole bulb of grated garlic
30ml of dark soy sauce
30ml of Worcester sauce
200ml of pineapple juice
200ml of water
The juice of 1 lemon
50ml of Jack Daniels whiskey
300 grams of dark brown sugar
Method
1. Add the oil to the pan. once hot add the onions and fry gently for a couple of minutes until they begin to soften
2. Add the teriyaki sauce, garlic, soy sauce, Worcester sauce, pineapple juice, water, lemon and jack Daniels and stir well
3. Carefully add the brown sugar, stir and allow to dissolve fully
4. bring to the boil but be careful and watch all the time from this point on. When this boils it does so rapidly and will completely bubble over if you leave it unattended
5. as soon as it starts to boil turn down the heat and simmer for a further 45 minutes stirring gently every 5-10 minutes so nothing sticks.
Allow to cool then keep in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze in portions.
This sauce can be used neat as a marinade rub or as a sauce on top of ribs or a cooked burger for that TGI Fridays Jack Daniels taste or water down very slightly to make the TGI Fridays dipping sauce.

Sounds great. I will try this. Can I just ask what happens to the onions. Do they reduce down or do I have to take them out. Thanks.

Thankyou.
Looking towards to trying this also
Thanks Sarah, hope you enjoy
Thank you
You're welcome
Followed the recipe and the result was amazing, just like the TGI's sauce. I just have one question, you say add 300 grams of brown sugar, I added this amount and it was a lot of sugar far more than the video shows us. Was this edited or was I seeing about 100 grams being added 2:10 in the video. In any case wow thumbs up
Hi, yes the 300g is correct. Just edited for speed and the size of the plastic bowls I had back then. Thanks for trying, appreciated. Loads more stuff on my main site if it helps ruclips.net/user/TheCurryKidvideos Josh
