Good video. 3/8", low profile, flex head ratchet - this is the key. Harbor Freight has a longer one with a 14 inch handle. Serpentine tool would not work for me for various reasons. What a pain! The ratchet solution is nice for a few reasons: 1. The direction the square hole is facing in the tensioner is awkward using the serpentine tool. With the ratchet, you put it in, then can move the position of the handle to whatever angle you want. 2. The 3/8" low profile, flex head, long handle has more uses besides lifting the tensioner and will be a good addition to my toolbox. Even with low profile, it was extremely tight getting it in and out.

I'm gonna look into the harbor freight one
just did this on the side of the highway but had long 3/8 breaker didnt have to remove everything. Whew what a mess by general motors
I cut the 3/8 long serpentine tool in half and took me 4 minutes to take old off and put new on. I will buy another set $20 won’t hurt my wallet
Great tip man probably do that next time
Why did you replace it what problems was the car giving
The pully was making a noise
