Ok is there any reason why Annie, Momoka, and Komomo can’t be sent to Taro, Shau, and Monta for breeding? There seems to be non relations between the females and males and they are all of breeding age.
I hope that female gorillas of appropriate age will live with Monta. Taro and Sho had female partners each in the past. I don't know what Japanese zoos think about partnership of young gorillas because they haven't made any public announcements. Monta came to Japan when he was little and has never(or just little ) experienced in the troop. He has been living alone for a long time (please see the summary section for past trial cohabitation with females) I guess the zoos think if Monta will live with young female gorillas, it may be stressful for him. above reasons. I don’t know but I guess. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the response. I also very much appreciate this video, I learned so much. My hope will always be that these beautiful beings will have the opportunity to experience love and family. The zoos aren’t always making the decisions that’s in their best interest. Just because one pairing wasn’t successful, doesn’t mean another pairing will have the same outcome.
