    I was noticing the other day- I think they are MUCH hotter now than they ever were in the 80s :D Anyone know the reason for the costumes? Not that I don't love the school girl outfit and nurse's uniform...

    “Thank you goodnight” and puts her shoes back on.
    This was the show where Belinda said she couldn’t wait to get the fuck out of dodge and onto a plane back home where her coke stash was.
    She couldn’t bring any with her because in Japan they throw you in jail for even the tiniest amount of illegal drugs.
    So she was jonesing bad the whole tour.

      The shoes had to go back her feet at some point.... She always put her shoes on before leaving the stage. She would do the same routine when doing shows in LA... Yes she might have been missing her powder, but slipping the shoes back on is not an indicator of her being in a hurry.

    Too bad they didn't smash their guitars at the end. It would've been appropriate and driven the crowd nuts. This was an incredible performance. And at their roots no matter what anyone says, they're still punk. And that will always be the most amazing thing about them.

    I kind of miss this Belinda: relaxed, sexual, wild, sassy onstage. But then I think about how, to get in that state of mind, she'd have to drink a bottle of red wine before a performance and probably do some lines too, and I'm conflicted. I love watching her like this, but being self-destructive was definitely bad FOR HER.

    I like it, but, frankly, they rocked it better in 1980 in the Urgh! video.

    Induct this talented group of Musicians into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!! All female band, Song Writers, #1 Album all female band, paved the way for Punk Bands like "GreenDay" Avril Levine No Doubt.. They weren't even listed on Top 40 Punk Bands by Rolling Stone. Travesty!!

    • @daveg4236

      Because they bailed on their punk roots very early and became a pop band. So they aren't punk

      @@daveg4236 So tired of hearing they sold out. Reality. Music industry is a business sell records make money. Everyone band has sold out including green day Avril Levine No doubt. . This is the real world. You can stick to your roots and be down and out poor. Better than working at Mcdonald's. That's the music industry. FYI... They did not sell out! Their songs have that punk riff. Ease up on women it been going on for years. Reward their talent.

      Cindy Land never said they sold out. Stated a fact that they are not punk. Barely were.

      @@daveg4236 Still Punk. You cant take that away. Usually critics and bands that didn't make it in the industry say those kinds of statements. Your misguided unsubstantiated facts hold no merit here. They were talented, they made it and that ticks you off. PUNK BAND! ALL FEMALE PUNK BAND!

    • @daveg4236
      @daveg4236 4 года назад

      Cindy Land misguided? Not one bit. Pull your head out. There's nothing punk about them. Other than they tried to be a punk band and were shitty at first. That's about it. Then they went pop.
