Good morning guys, I really love all of your adventure. its must be hard walking along the with the big rocks but view from above its amazing. thanks for sharing.
It was definitely tricky! The big rocks added to the difficulty since you had to really pay attention to where you stepped. But it was so much fun! We’re glad you enjoyed it! 😜
Aloha from Honolulu, Kathryn and Adam! I always LOVE following your adventures before we head out that hike or travel destination. My boyfriend, and I are going to Phoenix in March 2025 for an Award Dinner from his company, and we thought that maybe we would hike Camelback Mountain if time allowed. HOWEVER, after watching your video, I think we will just admire the mountain from a distance, as Ron and I are 72 years old and he has a bad knee which is NOT good for rock climbing, especially the downhill. So I'm pretty relived that I watched this video before we made plans to hike Camelback Mountain! LOL!
That big lizard you guys found is called a chuckwalla! When threatened they run into the crack between two rocks they then inhale and blow themselves up like a balloon wedging themselves between the two rocks so they can't be pulled out!! I know, very different and a strange defense!!
Loved this vlog...you two make me laugh! Camelback Mountain looked awesome but a bit hard...glad you made it Kathryn! Was that Adam sitting on the rock looking ledge???🥴😱😆 Thanks for posting all your adventures...so fun to watch and makes me feel like I am almost with ya’ll! 💕
Great job on the hike and showing it completely. Surprisingly I have not hiked it yet and have lived here all my life. Looks like I need to take on that challenge. Keep up the adventures.
Rolling Hills is my favorite course. Cheap but gorgeous, right next to the zoo, crocs can make some deep groaning noises you can hear, and you are up on an high hillside.
Just finished watching all your Arizona videos. Love them. Great information. Lots of details. Just a suggestion, hope you are not offended, but it would be great if you loose the gum when you are talking.
You’re totally right about the gum (my dad got onto me about that since day one of youtube 🤣) and we try to never chew it in our more recent videos. Slowly losing my gum addiction haha!
lived? still in Seattle? I climbed up Echo and Camel back for the first time ever oct of 2019. my first real mtn climbing in the valley during a visit. got about 3/4 up and turned around, legs couldn't do much more. will be better prepared on next AZ visit.
We now travel full time in a van! Well, not currently, we’re back in Austin with family waiting all of this out. It’s such a tough hike! We have lots of hiking experience and it kicked our butts! 😅

Aloha! Camelback Mountain is pretty tough and there are a few scrambling parts. Good thing you recognize your ability level!
I love Arizona live there for three years it's very pretty
It’s so gorgeous there! We just spent a couple weeks there again and loved the perfect winter weather! 😍
You guys ROCK!! What a climb!
SO brutal! That AZ heat is no joke!
I did the Camelback “mountain” hike many years ago. MUST start early to avoid the heat. I recommend hiking poles.
The heat can be brutal!

Whoooooa! That’s cool! Thanks for sharing that!

That was Adam! It wasn’t as scary as it maybe looked! 😜

It’s a tough one! Probably a great winter hike when it’s not so hot out!
@@AdventuresofAplusK thanks!! We finally are getting a little cooler so might give it a go soon.
Have a blast!

It was an awesome course! We looove a good cheap course with views!
Great Job! If you come back you may want to tackle flatiron in Apache Junction.
Thank you for the tip! Hoping to come back soon!
You are in my part of the country. Lots to see in Arizona.
Definitely! We always love visiting AZ!
Good job guys!
Thanks James!
We did it too !
Good vid!
Thank you!
I LOVED that hike!
Let’s try it again next time and see if we can beat our time and I don’t feel sick! 🤣

where are you guys from?
Austin originally, but we lived in Seattle for 3 years!

cool. I live in Kansas, a suburb of Kansas city, not many mountains here for hiking! Arizona is certainly the mecca for hiking.
Ah nice!!! We hope you can make it back there. Washington is another amazing place to hike!
Remember when we were allowed to go outside? :((((
