The Sea Organ 🌊 Zadar - Croatia

During my stay in Zadar, I also captured the atmosphere of the Sea Organ which is next to Greeting to the sun I published in my earlier video. Along the edge of the Adriatic Sea in Zadar, Croatia, is a series of marble steps that lead into the water. If you didn’t know better, you’d think they were just rather plain, broad steps, but they’re hiding a strange and beautiful secret - a musical instrument, an organ, to be exact. Concealed under these steps, which both protect and invite, is a system of polyethylene tubes and a resonating cavity that turns the site into a huge musical instrument, played by the wind and the sea. The movement of the sea pushes air through, and - depending on the size and velocity of the wave - chords are played. Because the sea is always changing, this seventy meters long sculpture never sounds the same twice...

You think it has the quality to go viral? It has passed unobserved for one year, so better keep the expectations bar low to avoid disappointments. The creator is very prolific but I have a feeling this video won't be here for much longer neither will she be allowed to post new stuff.
