One of my Aunts was the first Black person to work in Cleveland's CityHall. She work there for many years ( because she looked white) When they started accepting blacks, they sent notices around to every emplorer, asking how they would feel working next to a NEGRO. She replied, that it would make no difference to her since she had been BLACK all her life.!! (my family members are "Black /Irish.
