  • Lower Bowl was originally installed in 1946, a single chair that was manufactured in-house. The lift was replaced in 1966 with a new Riblet double chair, on a completely new alignment to more easily access the newer Multorpor chair. In 1998, the new lift was shortened, and given a new drive terminal.
Lower Bowl is a 1966 Riblet center-pole double chair. It is the main access out of the Skibowl West base area, and accesses Upper Bowl and Multorpor chairs. This lift is the longest at Skibowl, paired with the longest ride time. Like every other lift, this lift's chairs sport their own color to distinguish from other lifts. In this, that color is blue.

I love this lift, especially when its a nice day. it's not often we have a nice day skiing in Oregon and rain is as common as snow a lot of times. being on this chair for as slow as it is and as little vertical as it serves while it is raining or sleeting is one of the worst experiences of my life, but i still love this lift.

At 6:10 do they still use that mid-station?

Only in the summer time. There is an alpine slide, and that mid station is at the top of the slide.
