yeah it kinda annoyed me when Theo made a big deal of that, like sure you paid real money for the car, but would you really rather have like 15 minutes of fun and then be bored with it? I think the grinding for the top parts adds to the game, grinding out for ultimate parts in the base game is actually my favorite part.

Just very sad that no one is gonna mention the good things, everyone is salty because the dlc is not for free.Deluxe edition is not like a seasonpass, u already got something from the deluxe edition(K.S. Cars, Rep Boost etc.) If they throw such updates every 1-2 Months i dont mind paying 5 bucks for the car plus stuff that comes with it, i'm just really happy how the game turns out now

This was my favorite car to drive in Need For Speed: Undercover. It was so smooth and quick with perfect handling. I miss those old NFS games where you had to downshift with R3 and brake to drift.
Undercover's driving already had that B2D feel to it, though - tap on the handbrake and watch as your car speeds through the corner

While it looks nice in a body kit, I have a moral system I like to use within racing games. If it is a rare $20million+ car like the F1, I won't modify it. Sometimes I'll upgrade a few performance aspects, but keeping the originality is a beautiful thing....

Karlos Triño well if you think ab it, it’s very stupid to have to do additional missions for customization and have them not tell you that you need those additional missions to make the car look different. i like the grind but having to pay for the car, then do all of the new missions just to have the opportunity to buy the the customization for the car is dumb imo
@@KinkyHippie Without some of the best parts locked out, though, the missions will be completely pointless outside of money and rep. And plus, it makes the $5 a bit more worth it considering there are additional events to play through. Even Theo himself said before that Ghost need to lock out some parts to grind out. He's a huge hypocrite for that.
Is it overpriced, though, considering we're just getting 1 car*? Yes.
*Technically, we got 3 cars - 3 different F1s. Standard, LM, and the GTR Longtail. You can argue all you want that the LM and standard bits are easily ripped off of NFS of old, but the Longtail has never been outside of the early games

In forza you already get enough money to waste on a castle and in NFS there wasn't even need to pay money for a car. That's why I hated when everyone criticized Forza lootbox when they were just made so that people won't get cosmetic items in their wheelspins if they didn't want to.

You can't get your car to it's max performance unless you spin that roulette, which because it has a random outcome, it behaves like a lootbox. To spin that roulette, you need tokens which you can only get via scrapping cards that you don't need (grinding or spending money on Speed points to buy cards to scrap), get a daily shipment (another lootbox) or pay real money to get a shipment immediately with a number of tokens. Sure you can buy the available parts at the shop without spending a real world dime, but you're not getting the performance you would otherwise get if you're lucky in the roulette. I know this is a game and it should not reflect the real world as much, but clearly EA made the roulette on purpose to make more money from inpatient people and it makes me sad that affiliated NFS youtubers could not speak against it, but in fact welcome the feature. The game may have been updated to be more generous and give you more tokens, cards or whatever, I have already refunded the game twice since release in hopes that they'll get the updates right with no luck so I don't know it's current state.
Look at NFS 2015 and Heat upgrade system. It's a linear progression system and you know exactly what you're getting for what amount of in-game currency. You can plan out your progression so you know when to buy what. You can't buy in-game currency to speed up progression. As Nova Bruh mentioned, you kinda have to play the game to unlock and buy stuff even if you paid for them.

You didn't pay 5 bucks for one car, you paid 5 bucks for a DLC that they gave you 80% for free as a Demo and if you want to support it you pay the rest to unlock the other 20%.

That mini cutscene when Theo got the F1 reminds me A LOT of Most Wanted 2012 every time you switch vehicles or do the Most Wanted races
I noticed that the v12s tend to be faster at lower ends and then slower at high end. So a good engine swap where u get a nice balance would make this car phenomenal

I literally just completed all the Aston Martin challenges. Pretty fun and some put up a pretty good challenge. I just wish completing said challenges unlocked the McLaren... (Or at least not 5 bucks for 1 car)
Personally, I'd be okay if they used a sales tactic similar to the Forza Horizon series, where they release multiple cars in a pack (5-7 cars for 10-15 bucks) I noticed that Need For Speed didnt have any Toyotas. If they got the licensing, they could sell a Toyota Pack or something similar.
Forzas packs were/would be cheaper since they were 7 cars for 7-8$. While your saying that nfs would be making people pay 5$ for one car which is absurd for one car and a pack that's going to cost 10-15$ would be even more expensive than how much people payed for forzas packs.
I like the fact that u have to grind for visual parts too. Besides u still have 4/5 parts available. Dont complain so much

Patrick Starfish I agree, hennessey venom GT is the king in most wanted 2012 and they did the right thing of putting it in the paid DLC otherwise it would be unfair in multiplayer but there is a limitation, it is a boat like bugatti veyron SS, it will be hard to turn quickly
@@civicrider5556 Eh, if you have the skills you can defeat a Hennessey with an Agera in that game. It was not expert level skills needed either. Not defending the practice of pay to win but the DLC was not required to win in multiplayer on that game.

just got this one today!! the mclaren is by far my fastest car beating out maxed R8 times by 10 or 20 seconds in some cases....
very happy, alittle sad it feels like pay to win after grinding for the r8, level 50, and ultimate parts.....
nontheless made the mclaren look like an older lemans gulf race car and couldnt be happier!

If anyone see this the reason the cars don’t go past 230mph is because the game won’t load in we all know how rivals used to glich out when u go to fast the game always freezes and your’ll fall in the map and stuff

We went from the aggressive high pitch V12 sound in MW2012 and Rivals, to a fucking Aventador sound in Heat.
I've done it, found the RSR killer!!!! took A LOT of time. finally beat an evo, an rsr and the F1 in an online match around the resort circuit, and the columbia race!
R32 (old one (Daihatsu) build:
I compared 2 engines: R35 3.8L V6 engine, and the Porsche I6 at the end.
The GTR engine will give you similar stats but less horsepower and torque. not only would you hear it but you will notice it and it will struggle to keep speed.
USE THE I6 ENGINE!!!! It holds 243mph at 15lb Nitrous and 239mph in normal driving, without feeling like it will bog down. I can't wait to see the difference when i unlock the ultimate+ cooling because that increases hp and torque.

The 0-60 is a lot slower than my evo. The evo is 0-60 in 1.6sec. The R32 (daihatsu) is 0-60 in 1.76sec
I like the additional missions, reminds me of Eddies Challenge in 2015, very good. But JUST that took *way too long* to Release AND *SHOULD BE FOR FREE* smh

Come to think of it: this DLC works exactly like NFS2012 and that explains why Theo dislikes it:
1) you got a pack of cars and tracks
2) for each car, you needed to complete specific mixture of old and new races, in order to unlock customization options for the car.
The difference is a purely quantitative one: one car in Heat vs a bundle in 2012. Only in Heat you’re unlocking visual customization, while in 2012 it was performance, but this is because of how those games work. The principle is exactly the same.
In order to get the cool stuff hooking up the Wang with the rear fender is to unlock the rear canards, that's the cool connecty piece.
This car was unironically on my nfs wishlist, I am happy!!

For those who are complaining about the sound. I found out that the closest sound to the real f1 is the 600hp 2.0l l4 Hybrid engine so I hope i helped a bit. It's not the real thing but at least it doesn't sound like a lamborgini.
