Juz 29 • All makkan surah. But when they see it1594 approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call. • Trust in Allah.V.29. Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error." Surah Al-Qalam(The Pen). • The first creation is the pen. • Theme is to honor the prophet ﷺ. • Outstanding character of our prophet ﷺ.v.4. And indeed, you are of a great moral character. • Story of those who owned the luxurious garden and because of their stinginess there wealth was destroyed.v.17-32. • Description of the Day of Judgment. • Those who can't prostrate on that day because they refused to prostrate in this world. Surah Al-Haqqah (The Reality). • Main focus is Day of Judgment. • The inevitable reality. • Receiving the book in right and left hand. • The fate of these people.v.19-37. • The Qur’an, divine revelation from the Raabb Al Aalameen. • If the prophet was lying v.44-47. • The threat is to the quraish that he ﷺ is a true prophet. Surah Al Ma’arij (The Ascending Stairways). • Day of Judgment. • V.19. Indeed, mankind was created anxious: • The righteous ones .v.22-27. Surah Nuh (Noah) • Story of Nuh AS. • A message for our prophet ﷺ to be patient and to warn the of the quraish if they reject. • The benefits of isthigfar.V.10-12. And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. 11. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers 12. He was mesmerized by the recitation of the Qur'an. • Abu jahl said to him it's not acceptable. • Allah describe what’s in his mind. • People of jahannam converse with the angels.v.31. • They say that they were not of the people of prayer. Surah Al-Qiyamah (The Resurrection). • Powerful surah. • The power of Allah. • People testifying against themselves. • Allah promise the prophet ﷺ that he will memorize the Qur'an. • Faces will be shining bright by seeing Allah. • Does man think that he will be left without a purpose? He's series of life of barzakh was the reason I memorized surah Mulk. Once I realised I learn a bigger then the usual short ones I'm learning more now. Alhumdulilah and thx YQ.

Surah Al-Mulk (The Dominion) INTRO: -Mid-Makkan surah -It saves us from the punishments of the grave (hadith). This surah will intercede in front of Allah SWT until the sins of its reciter/memorizer will be forgiven. -Also called Surah Tabarak because it 1 of the 2 surah (other being Al-Furqan) that starts with “Tabaraka” -Theme: the demonstration of the dominion of Allah SWT CONTENT : -It is Allah SWT Who is the source of all blessings: all blessings & goods come from Him alone -Challenge: look as far as the eye can see, do you see any imperfection, mistakes? -Punishments are described: when the disbelievers & ignorants will be brought to Hellfire, the angels would not believe: how could you possibly end up here?! It was so obvious that you should be worshipping your Creator: V.8 "Did no warner come to you?“ V.9 They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ' Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.’ “ V.10 And they will say, "If only we had been listening and using our intelligence/reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze.“ -The true intelligence/knowledge is to ponder on the purpose of life and seek the answer to the most important questions in life: why do I exist? Who has created me? What will be after I die? -V.12 Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward. -Conclusion: Those who reject Allah SWT are told: this water that you drink, if Allah has willed it would disappear. And if it would disappear, who could possibly bring it back?
