About This Series:
My plan is to summarize the entire message of the Quran, in 30 lessons.
As those of you who listen to my lectures are aware, my style is typically to go into quite a lot of detail. Most of my lectures would be classified as intermediate or advanced. However, this series will be very different.
I want to present the message of the Quran to those who have never really read the Quran before. The goal would be that after listening to this 45-minute lecture, they should then read the entire juz (para) themselves.
I want people to follow along with me, day by day, and recite that juz, and then read a translation of it, so that we complete the whole Quran this month. The goal of my lecture is to help them appreciate and contextualize what they are going to read. This is NOT a detailed, word by word, verse by verse, tafsīr. I've done that for quite a few Surahs, and if we ever did that for the entire Quran it would be over a thousand lectures at least!
Rather, this is an analytical summary - it is 'basic' in that I'm not going to go into academic details, but to prepare this 'basic' summary will require quite a lot of work (as those who know, know!).
Hafiz Sajjād joins me to recite a section of that juz (around ten minutes) so that we do get a taste of the beauty of the original as well.
I hope that this series will be of benefit, and that it will increase our love for this Divine Book! I ask Allah to bless me with sincerity and to guide me to what is best!

I wont rewatch this everyday after I go through them all but I think I'll revisit from time to time. I do want to keep the habit of reading the Quran every month though, I think that will be very helpful!
Absolutely.... inshaAllah this will be a source of inspiration whilst I am engaging with the Quran... I feel like I have never been able to engage with the Quran as much as I have been able to this Ramadan facilitated by not only these lectures Alhamdulillah but also the lockdown and so many more factors .... so grateful for this.... Social economic rank is irrelevant for the actual rank cos it doesn’t matter where are u in this dunyia. Rehma of Allah is nothing to do with ur bank account. (Reality of this world)

When Allah says we live twice & die twice maybe you should clarfy what does that mean I mean this part "we die twice" I'm trying to understand that but still a bit confusing
So what about the people born with health issues.
Is that given as a sin recinder for them from birth.
No it is a test for Him/her and also others around him that how they react.. Infact since the person is already born with difficulty and if he is patient enough then his ranks in Jannat may be among the highest level.. Same is the case with poor people.. The more blessings we are given in this dunya then the more answerable we will be on the day of judgement

Yess! The most well-known understanding of the verse is that people were created "dead." Then, they were given life when they came to this world. Then, they will die. Then, they will be brought back to life for Qiyamah. That is two deaths and two lives.
