I had a 66 nova chevy II. 6 cyl. 196 2 speed automatic in high school. Purchased used for $1200.00 sold it 3 years later for$600.00. Man wish I had that car back!
Back in the day everybody from 18 to 45 was hotrodding something and had loud cars. Nobody worried about waking up neighbors and frankly neighbors didn't give a damn.
I have a two door sedan or some people called a post car this One i a Coupe i Love the thing had i since bought i as at Shell i was gonna make a race car i now has a on i a a powerglide it's a beautiful running little car framework
I do not remember any nova ll being an SS. I could be wrong. These days , lots of people remake classic cars and put badges and different motors , claiming to be SS and orginal. Beware people , DO UR HOMEWORK BEFORE SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS !
Like some people say they have an SS and it has a bench seat. SS was buckets with center console and i always new SS to have bigblock motors in the 60's and early 70's.
Question is, date correct means nothing on a Chevy II if it isn't a 362 block, Chevy II blocks are different because the oil filter is receesed up higher to clear the clutch linkage. Those blocks are super hard to find.
I had a 66 327 4spd 350 horse hot little car. Put 456 rear gears and it ran like a dream quick as could be. Kinda wish still had it.

Take us back to the good ole days!
Nice car, but that car is begging for the 350 HP version of the 327 as opposed to the 275 HP version.
Mom and Dad had one just like this and traded it for a VW camper. And yes it was an SS.
That thing is delicious! But I know what they be charging for those things now.
