    Man, for working in the bush in the Winter!? Thats killer. Collect a lot of maple sap and move wood with that Outlander with tracks.

    Really good video! Most people (me at least) have no idea about these tracks. Saw an 850 xt max with tracks at my local dealer yesterday. It was the new blue metallic too, just like our 72 Monte Carlo. It was really tough walking out of there without it, but the combined price definitely made me walk out empty handed. I have a 19 Can am 570. Doesn't look like I better try tracks without the 850 or 1000. That means keep 570 and put on my new tires on Friday. Also ordered a Umatek (CVTech) Trailbloc Clutch from Peak Boys in Canada. Should be fun.

    All nice to play drive around with. I own a kit on a outlander 650. BRP made a major mistake when they designed those tracks. The wheel bearring wear out very fast you can’t grease it, you can’t replace the bearring only you havé to replace the wheel assembly at 75$ each and there are a total of 32 on the four tracks. Had BRP used a 141mm wheel at 35$ and can replace the bearring would have made more sens. I do not recommend BRP 360 track for that major reason!

      Good point , something no one wanted to talk about. I was on the fence, now I’m done with it. I’ll buy a couple decent sleds instead.

    Is it possible to switch from tires to tracks and vice versa easily or is it a process to do or should I say once tracks are on are they on for good. Im trying to get an atv for various hunting Newfoundland,Alaska and Colorado and I would like to use tires and tracks depending where I go.

    • @mcmuskie2563
      @mcmuskie2563 2 года назад

      Carful cause the maintenance on the tracks is very expensive. Wheels can’t be greased and wear out quickly, I found that out and scraps the idea…

  • @yorkchris10

    I wonder if someone will offer aggresive tracks for the 360.
    With the right technology, they could do torque vectoring.

    Hmmm, I just read about the Track Wheels wearing out badly due to no Grease Fittings and 35.00 per wheel to replace. 35 x 82 wheels = 2,800.00 an average of two seasons. I’m out, plus the length of the trailer etc..

    The track system I'm designing will eliminate the underdrive issue that most wheel replacing units have do to the reduction in effective wheel height.

    Tracks on an atv will never replace a sled...lol
    Whoever said that never had a decent sled.
    I have both and the atv is like riding a horse in the snow, to high up and exposed, plus the suspension and the way it acts is a totally different feel.
    35 yrs experience on both. Just a couple years with the tracks on the atv . Can go anywhere but just not the same fun in the snow..lol

    tracks doesn't make sense! At max you get 30 to 40 miles from a tank of gas limiting where you can go.
