Please, if a girl is cold and unfriendly toward you, and constantly tells you to shut up and calls you an idiot, the normal line of reasoning isn't "She actually is in love with me, but can't be honest with her feelings, and so defaults toward insulting me out of embarrassment!" That's the most stupid thing ever. Take the hint and move on, don't obsess with her, unless you want to be labeled a stalker and have your persistence reported to the higherups (teachers, bosses, authority).
Also, it's not cute at all. If girls want to appeal to guys, they seriously should not pull the tsun BS. I know this is fiction, but you'll be surprised by the number of people who think there's an element of truth in fiction.

@@xaracen7207 No, it's not. I've lived in Japan for a while, and nobody behaves like that in real life, and none of my male friends are attracted to such childish and silly behavior.
Also, you've to remember, most of this fiction is directed at otaku - and otaku only make up a small fraction of the population. It's not like every Japanese guy is a hardcore fan of manga tropes, and even those who are, aren't interested in real women anyway (I say this jokingly). Seriously speaking, most real life otaku can differentiate fiction from reality.
Ironically, this is an example of "people thinking there's an element in truth in fiction." See? You already have commenters who think it's "perfectly acceptable" or normal in Japan, when it's not.
Airi was an amazing cupid for her big brother Mamoru and Tohko. She so easily picked up on the situation at hand and could easily read the room. And it was thanks to her that the two lovebirds could make up and become a lovey dovey couple.
The way the narrations takes place it's more like light novels than a manga.

I started watching these videos last year in September because it showed up in the recommended videos or my general video feed. I watched it because I was so depressed I thought it couldn't hurt to watch it. I then started watching other manga channels and started liking them. Also, my first channel was manga rabbit. Then kanon, then ayasaki, then nana kuma. And I still watch those 4 channels to this day. They are my main channels to watch. I watch 3-5 videos a day depending on when they come out with new videos and how many channels do it the same day. Idk why i am sharing all this though
I can relate to you, but i started watching these manga this year, and because of the exact reason... my first one was Kanon though.
I was hospitalized for 10 days in July, my insurance plan covered a private room, and the room’s TV didn’t have the channel I watch, so I spent my time on RUclips (except, of course, when Dodgers games were on, I could watch them with my app). I got bored of my usual video fare and decided to click on one of these stories, and…I’ve been addicted ever since!
