Neither can I. One late night I was going through one of my MANY hair crisis. Mind you, I have never worn a wig at this point. I bought some CHEAP Brazilian bundles (w| closure) from Amazon and made the wig myself by watching tutorials. That wig still hanging in there and looks GOOD ! Cost me a whole $60.00. These wig prices can pay one of my bills 🤣🤣🤣 lol (but seriously)
@@maiah4644 bleach strips hair of natural defenses, and hair that is no longer receiving sebum from a follicle is even more vulnerable. Makeup does a great job in concealing the knots in my opinion. With how expensive these wigs and closures are I would air on the side of caution conservatism and not use the bleach. But of course it is a personal preference.

This was just the video I needed. I did a big chop and I’m starting to wear lace wigs. I installed my first one but was scared to bleach my knots so this will work until I get the courage. 😅

Thank you for showing this! In the description for the wig, it actually says that the first 2 inches of the knots are bleached. I'm glad to see that is not the case before ordering!

Hello, can you tell me what you use when you over bleach the knots? I understand getting the dialed in getting a Sporley and retouching up the roots of the hair I get that I’ve done that but my lace itself is still so brassy I’ve gotten the color charm toner and I’ve done the tea 15 let it sit on it it’s still freaking brassy. I’ve done the tea, dipped it in tea and let it sit in that it’s still brassy. What else can I do?
@@LovelyBryana yes I’ve done everything I’ve let that purple shampoo sit on it for like 20 to 30 minutes. I went and bought the Wella toner and developer and let that sit on it and nothing is changing. The color of that lace is still brassy throughout.

Ki Glover the knots will be obvious from close up and people will keep staring at your head when they’re talking to you. If that’s cool then sure,😊 maybe try the foundation method on a part instead of the whole wig
HELP!! I bought a Kendall wig by Henry Margu which is synthetic with a mono top and lace front. The wig is very dark brown and the lace front hairline is covered with black fake looking knots!! I called the store where I bought it (over $400!) and they said they can’t bleach synthetic knots-only human hair knots! Is that true?? (I would just need to bleach the lace front hairline not the top of cap). They were so rude and said “no one has ever complained of knots before except you”. I am so upset to waste that much money and they won’t do a thing to help!!
lol at no one should be too close up on you. I have coworkers & my family in my head all the time trying to see if it’s my natural hair. My coworkers stand close up over me while I’m sitting at my desk and staring into my head like they really have something to talk to me about!🤦🏽♀️

What's the tint spray used for on wigs purpose? If you tint the lace does that mean you're dyeing it?
i use liquid foundation and i love it waaaay more than power foundation and bleaching lol

Have you tried a purple shampoo and letting it sit on the lace for about 15 mins then washing or make sure the toner is purple

TheAnnieG07 synthetic hair is plastic so it won’t bleach. Try the foundation or Sally Hansen leg spray.
