Thank you all for watching. To be honest, the Zen Go is definitely 10 out of 10 as far as quality.. Just listen for yourselves... Check it out here -> en.antelopeaudio.com/products/zen-go-synergy-core/
I was looking into one of these. Appreciate the Video Bro. Thanks for the review and for sharing!! Also thank you for the Screen Recording of the DAW and for walking through it.
Thanks bruh, I actually have the Zen tour and the Antelope studio 2017. I love the sound of these pres and the pristine sound and the high quality I get with Antelope Audio.
I am 62 had many Studios 24 track Adat I just came back to music after 14 years I had this zen Go I moved up To the Synergy discreet four with all the Plug-in they have can’t go wrong with it I am about to move up to the Orion I am keeping my discreet four though and I have work on hit records As a writer and musician
@@reggiesaidit513 this is interesting. Im also an audio engineer and took a break around ‘14-‘15 with no real plans to return. Then before Covid I got the itch for it again and started off slow my just buying good headphones and a decent laptop and now im back to being all in again lol
The Zen Go is excellent in terms of specifications, but the experience is a bit different in practice. I bought one for Christmas. I'm experiencing a constant electrical buzz and interference. I've tried connecting it to my MacBook Pro M1, directly to a socket, to an external battery, and I even took it to work to try it in a different environment, but I still get this buzz. It's unusable for daily use. I think I'm going to return it.
I bought it a few weeks ago. Love it so far. Only issues I've had with it is the software. At times I've had to unplug the interface to get the control panel to recognize the interface. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro using USB C but I'm still getting those little hiccups with the software. Other than that, I absolutely love it
I just got one of these recently. I have had a bit of muck around recording some electric guitar stuff with it. Seems really promising. Locking forward to getting to know it better. I am hoping to record a vocal for a track I am working on over the next couple of days, ( just getting over a cold , so we will see how that goes, lol). From what I have learnt about using it so far I think I am going to be able to hear myself singing better than I have with previous audio interfaces I have owned. Great video by the way. One think I am not sure of is if you can print the reverb? Or is the reverb just for monitoring? Cheers.
Currently have this one, only one issue I got too used to the LA-2A on UA. I don’t want to give up on this interface over a little distortion issues but the only pre that works well without distortion for me is the gyrex. Any tips on using those compressors?
Hey Archie, can you or anyone here help me, plz? Which of these mics would you recommend for female singer with smooth voice? For recording in the studio. - Shure SM7B - Shure SM27 - Blue Baby Bottle (older model) I know in this vid you're talking about audio interfaces not mics, but I wanted to take this opportunity... I'm thinking of buying one and I have some doubts bc they are very similar. Although one of them is dynamic, and I don't know if it is suitable for my type of voice, help plz
I'd eliminate the SM27 and go with either the SM7B or Blue Baby Bottle. Blue Baby Bottle - Good For Well Treated Rooms SM7B - Good For Poorly Treated Rooms Both are good its just the difference between Dynamic and Condenser.
I’m looking to upgrade my interface . I mainly use vocals ,keys and guitar . Im just curious about the Zen Tour or apollo x4 . I dunno if anyone still have problems with the customer services with Antilope lately . They both high in price range but similar in what they do . Any thoughts about them? Greetzz !
Honestly, both of them. They both sounds great and are built well. The different is DSP and the ability to use the plugins inside the DAW you are using. UA products can do that but the Zen Go only allows you to use the plugins in the recording process. I hope this helps.
RME is ahead. I sold my Zen Go. I bought an RME bf pro fs and became happy. Zen GO created a lot of problems for me , it hurts me to remember it. Everything is fine on paper and in advertising, but in fact the Sound is bad , the drivers are bad, like everything else. I'm done with ANTELOPE once and for all !!! Six months ago, Zen Go was worth + 150 euros. Now + 1600 euros. for the same money. In this regard, it was difficult for me to sell Zen Go/ I had to sell it very cheap. Stop marketing !!!
yo archie i doubt u will see this but i am someone trying to become a rapper on spotify and soundcloud but i havent made anything yet i just wanna say sincei have the thrill and lust to become a good rapper if i do would you liek to be my producer
To be honest I have the Apollo twin and the zen go but to my honest experience the Apollo is 2x better a honest comparison will be with focusrite which to me the zen go sound very much alike and as far as loudness the zen go lacks very much of it’s just my honest experience with using i got so frustrated with using the zen go for mixing I just unplugged it and went back to my Apollo don’t get me wrong the zen go looks great but it lacks very much when it comes to loudness
That’s what I’m saying ..I don’t know if my apollo went out or if it’s my thunderbolt port ..so because of that I bout a zen go and 4i4 focusrite . I just couldn’t force myself to like zen go . Trying focusrite for first time immediately sounds better than the zengo..I have to get back to the Apollo but the focusrite for $174 sounded better than the $500 zengo.. good no latency but lacks sound quality and volume like you said ..it’s like they just focused on the features 🤷🏾

Thanks for your video 🙏🏾Can you do a comparison with the zengo and zen tour is there a different quality?
I had mines for 2 years been great but one complaint is headphone dac is low
I wish I could just afford an audio interface and microphone and make music...dayum😤

When you said "I have had a bit of much around recording some electric guitar stuff" were you having issues? Not sure what you meant there.
I bought it. Been with it for about 8 months.. Honestly, Do care 4 it.. Going 4 a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface..
Can i Use it on my old macbook with usb 2?

Is extremely low latency means that I can record analog synthesizer in FL Studio without a delay?

Unfortunately, no. Antelope focuses really hard on audio quality and conversion. I would love to see midi on their future products.
