Yeah. They did that on purpose. They did it with all the guys at the end of Step Up 2 as well. Their jackets switch from on to off a few times during the same scene like from one shot to the next they are on or off. Same with Julian.
did you even watch the movie completely? #1: luke has to open the gate so they can get in. duh #2: the movie probably didn't show the blurring #3: they could have just drifted there. people move, you know. #4 and a few others: facial expressions can change in a matter of seconds. #5: luke's actor probably cant do the stunt, so they have to find a replacement for that one scene. many movies have that. shall I go on?
These aren't mistakes, they're just editing issues. Watch any movie and you're bound to find where facial expressions change in between shots because they are from too different takes.
Another mistake is when jacob dances with Natalie in the final battle she does that dance with jacob then just as they start the dance with the lights she can see Natalie on the right but yet she some how knows there what they learned at the fair
did you guys ever notice at the final battle julian's jacket is on and off... he is wearing and then next clip he is not lol
