Health at the centre of climate negotiations: experiences from COP28

Associate Professor Aditya Vyas presents the health impacts of climate change (health protection, health promotion and disease prevention), the international climate negotiation landscape and health professionals’ powerful role in addressing climate change. This can be through health protection against climate events and related burden of disease (adaptation); decarbonising our health systems through quality improvement activities (mitigation); and health promotion and health-led advocacy.
