I love this! My parents did this for years in their own store. They traveled in AL and TN mostly. Their store was in AL. We went to auctions, flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores, and yard sales. I’ve seen them make hundreds of dollars of profit off the simplest items. I still love to go to yard sales and thrift stores. My mom is now 74 and she still goes also. I’m a fan and I subscribed.
Hi from McKinney TX. I am a longtime LV collector. I don't know everything, however, I do my best to keep up. The LV bag you found is the "Pallas Clutch". It was released in and around 2011. The authentic version features a red cotton fabric lining, red leather tab inside depicting where it was made & a date code. It also comes with a chain strap. Louis Vuitton did not use date codes prior to 1982. LV licensed by the French Co never used date codes. Just an FYI.....be on the lookout for the "Le Pliage Tote" by Longchamp. You had your hands on one at 28:38 they can bring a decent amount. Nice handbag scores!!

I think we all look for different things at the thrift...you leave behind bags I would gladly take as I renovate Coach bags for fun...and take bags that I wouldnt even look at. Shows how different everyone's tastes are. I would have gotten the Victorian purse as well.
Im a sunglass hoarder as well as a handbag hoarder and a scarf hoarder...I would be digging in those containers like nobodies business. My best buy was authentic Dior sunglasses for 50c.
I just bought the same purse & color strap as you. I was also hoping its real. It seems leather real & couldn't find anything on line. Mine also had chain. But, I found 2 years after you. I never thought the color of the strap was a good match. I believe its real! Good luck with that Louis. Its exactly like mine!
I love the croco and all of the Coach bags and the teal/greenish blue Tignanello purse. I bought a red Tignanello satchel yesterday. I love red purses. That greenish blue one you found is lovely.

We had a nearby value village and i always went there when had extra $$$ and shop!One time i saw a 2 prada bags and i am expecting a fake 1 cause it's still in the shelf!So i tried to check it out and the crossbody bag is real with code and Made in Italy and bought for $20 then left with a smile!
Its a good fake from outside just looking. As they are wrapped (at least mine are) the LV are upside down on backside. He could maybe get 30 or 40 still but at 14.99 I'd left it laying. Lol,enjoy your afternoon.

I have a large collection of Louis Vuitton merchandise. I can tell, by the strap on the LV, it’s a fake. The straps age quickly and don’t stay that light color for very long. The red edges are also a big warning sign. There’s so many fake hand bags out there. I wouldn’t even trust a Coach bag from a thrift store. Many of the thrift stores have gotten to be experts on designer brands and would never put authentic bags in a bin. If you want a great deal on Louis Vuitton, fly to Paris. You can pay for your trip on what you save on buying one of their bigger handbags there. The bags are cheaper than what they export. You also get the VAT back at the airport. Just remember not to pack your LV items in your check-in luggage. Take it in your carry-on. 25% tax is included in their prices.

Goodwills in Oregon take everything that’s valuable n put it on their own site that is like eBay… the only thing left is literally garbage … your very lucky there..
Here are some things to look for to see if it's real LV: - Logo(LV), it's never cut nor stitched - stitching, hand stitched it's not a straight line but a bit leaning / - hardware, heavy and solid. Also for gold hardware it's goldish not yellowish - Code, there is always a code wether a leather one stitched or a stamped for older LV's

No on the LV bag. The glazing on the leather edges is extremely sloppy, the stitching is uneven, the chain hardware is unevenly worn/oxidized. Reselling it just further promotes the making and selling of counterfeit goods, imo. I would keep or give away (telling the receiver it's counterfeit), but not resell.

Not sure about the Louis Vuitton. It does appear to be made in one piece and that's a Telltale sign that it is but like you on the little concerned about the handle. I would have picked up the fossil flowered bag. It was adorable
The fossil items are sort after from watches to the bags That beige tartan pattern looked like a Burberry bag. Keep an eye out for Radley bags, they are very popular in the UK
Hi nice haul! There should be a serial number inside the Louie. But even then sometimes they put fake serial numbers in there. I would take and have authenticated but if there is no serial number at all it is fake unfortunately.
Goodwill pulls all of the authentic items and sells them online through their auctions. You will receive a certificate of authenticity with your purchase.
Great finds. I have no idea about the LV. To me the hardware doesn’t look correct. I think you can sell that small red Coach because if you go into a stadium that is the size you need to carry (or small clear). When the pandemic is over, I think small bags will be in for clubbing, concerts, and sports events. Safe travels.

There are vintage LV bags with no serial numbers. Take it to LV store. They will definitely let you know. I found one 2yrs. ago. It was a backpack!! I got it authenticed at their store (here) in New York!! 🙏🙏🤗🤗

I've never used it but someone gifted me a Longaberger purse that is literally a basket with the purse straps I think it's their sister's collection or something I don't know if it's worth anything I just keep it in the event that it is and I'm stupid enough to sell it for 20 bucks so at least I know it's still safe with me lol it's a pretty color too it's like light colors the wood is like a really pretty blonde Oak color and the materials like seafoam green and cream
You should check out the Longaberger baskets company in Dresden Ohio because I'm pretty sure that they make is quality and I'm almost sure it's worth money any way more than $20 that's for sure because anything that comes from Longaberger is big bucks $$$$$$ I would look it up for sure
Oh yeah just wanted to tell you one more thing that they have their home office in Newark Ohio and it's actually a gigantic basket it's probably one of the coolest things you'll ever see it but it's pretty neat I would give my left arm to have Longaberger basket or purse basket because I watched them build that big giant basket it was like 20 years ago the neatest thing I ever seen so if you ever feel like getting rid of that purse let me know cuz I would love one like I said I watched the company go from very being very small to be unable to probably create a little teeny town in there little teeny town which was kind of neat but like I said they're home office is the coolest thing I've ever seen a gigantic basket like six stories check into it if you get a chance
You passed on that lovely beaded clutch, huh? I can't help but rescue every one of those that I see from thrift stores and estate sales. Your GW is phenomenal. I am super jealous but then again if the GW's were as good, I'd have to purchase a separate building just for purses. It amazes me that some of the really well made and super cute vintage purse brands don't command more money.
Longaberger is a basket weaving plant in a small town in Southern Ohio called Dresden and they are known for making baskets like they weave the baskets right there at their factory in Dresden Ohio and they are really expensive because they are supposed to be quality
The black “coach” and the “LV” bags unfortunately are not authentic(hardware & that chain are a dead give away for one instance, it’s very cheap.). Also look for Italian leather made handbags & crossbody bags. Perhaps the lady wasn’t a reseller so she didn’t “miss “ the purse, just didn’t want it, right🤷🏽♀️ The Frank Sarto is a high quality designer bag, was worth picking up. Any Frank Sarto leather bag/ shoe. The cream leather coach bag trimmed in brown(it was a little dirty on the bottom,) was a beautiful bag. It was worth picking up and cleaning. There’s a cleaner on Amazon - works on everything. The grey Etienne Aigner - you picked it up before the suede coach but threw it back. Another gorgeous bag…

Hello from Kentucky! In the couch handbag the number for the purse in stitched on the leather tag inside. I have been told to go to the website to look up the handbag. I have let to try that myself on a few I have purchased from eBay.
Last year I found a LV Speedy 25, great condition. Had date code. Price was $80, it was a purple color day for 1/2 off, paid $40. Silly me, after a month, I gave it to my friend….I offer to buy it back…! She then gave it to her niece. I’d pay the niece for the Speedy back, but she couldn’t find it….somewhere lost in her home. Ugh!

On the Louis Vuitton always check the sides because they would match up. It would not be off filtered and it would pick up and completely match.

Try washing name brand purse that is dirty but not worn on gentle with tide pod. I have done this and had good results.

I've never used it but someone gifted me a Longaberger purse that is literally a basket with the purse straps I think it's their sister's collection or something I don't know if it's worth anything I just keep it in the event that it is and I'm stupid enough to sell it for 20 bucks so at least I know it's still safe with me lol it's a pretty color too it's like light colors the wood is like a really pretty blonde Oak color and the materials like seafoam green and cream
You should check out the Longaberger baskets company in Dresden Ohio because I'm pretty sure that they make is quality and I'm almost sure it's worth money any way more than $20 that's for sure because anything that comes from Longaberger is big bucks $$$$$$ I would look it up for sure
Oh yeah just wanted to tell you one more thing that they have their home office in Newark Ohio and it's actually a gigantic basket it's probably one of the coolest things you'll ever see it but it's pretty neat I would give my left arm to have Longaberger basket or purse basket because I watched them build that big giant basket it was like 20 years ago the neatest thing I ever seen so if you ever feel like getting rid of that purse let me know cuz I would love one like I said I watched the company go from very being very small to be unable to probably create a little teeny town in there little teeny town which was kind of neat but like I said they're home office is the coolest thing I've ever seen a gigantic basket like six stories check into it if you get a chance
You passed on that lovely beaded clutch, huh? I can't help but rescue every one of those that I see from thrift stores and estate sales. Your GW is phenomenal. I am super jealous but then again if the GW's were as good, I'd have to purchase a separate building just for purses. It amazes me that some of the really well made and super cute vintage purse brands don't command more money.

Longaberger is a basket weaving plant in a small town in Southern Ohio called Dresden and they are known for making baskets like they weave the baskets right there at their factory in Dresden Ohio and they are really expensive because they are supposed to be quality

The black “coach” and the “LV” bags unfortunately are not authentic(hardware & that chain are a dead give away for one instance, it’s very cheap.). Also look for Italian leather made handbags & crossbody bags. Perhaps the lady wasn’t a reseller so she didn’t “miss “ the purse, just didn’t want it, right🤷🏽♀️
The Frank Sarto is a high quality designer bag, was worth picking up. Any Frank Sarto leather bag/ shoe. The cream leather coach bag trimmed in brown(it was a little dirty on the bottom,) was a beautiful bag. It was worth picking up and cleaning. There’s a cleaner on Amazon - works on everything. The grey Etienne Aigner - you picked it up before the suede coach but threw it back. Another gorgeous bag…

Hello from Kentucky! In the couch handbag the number for the purse in stitched on the leather tag inside. I have been told to go to the website to look up the handbag. I have let to try that myself on a few I have purchased from eBay.

LV does not do double or back stitching. I have 9 LV bags so on the tag inside it’s got some double stitching .

Last year I found a LV Speedy 25, great condition. Had date code. Price was $80, it was a purple color day for 1/2 off, paid $40. Silly me, after a month, I gave it to my friend….I offer to buy it back…! She then gave it to her niece. I’d pay the niece for the Speedy back, but she couldn’t find it….somewhere lost in her home. Ugh!
Found the LV Speedy bag at Value Village here in Alaska.
You should have sent it to Fashionphile , I sold mine for $750 last year. Excellent condition, bought in 2012.

The LV is really well made if it's not real then someone has amazing copy skills. I love it and would be happy carrying it. I will be amazed if it is not LV.
I wish you would have shown the sides of the LV. The design should always match up.
