Devante does a lot of background work so why would he hog the spotlight? Understand he does production,lyrics,instruments,arrangements and background vocals ? So why would he talk a lot in interviews ? Producers stay in the background. Devante probably thought the lady was dumb af or annoying so he kept his peace. He only speaks the truth. They ask a lot of dumb questions. Kci and Mr Dalvin talk the most anyway. And Jojo reserved like Devante that’s why they were best friends.
