The guy is seriously an amazing player who influenced everybody since. The guy can really play.
Elliott Henderson Maybe under exposed or not as famous as EVH or somebody but most musicians are in awe of this guy and would rate him very highly. On the short list of the all time best. I know what you mean though.
Michael Schenker is brilliant from UFO, Scorpions, MSG to Temple Of Rock. He has been a huge influence on me. From Doctor Doctor, Rock Bottom, Lights Out, to Lovedrive to Into The Arena to his modern work. Such a talent.
He totally deserved this award! I can't understand why he isn't recognized more, for he is truly a master! So happy he is doing better. Long live Michael Schenker!!!!
He is at the same level with Hendrix, Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Tony Iommi, Keith Richards, so he should be recognized

so deserved, he's really underrated
I got to witness him playing live with UFO in 79 at The Forum in LACA. I was 19 and will never forget Love To Love that night. The other songs rocked of course but the solo for that song is epic! It's like a dream come true to see him back onstage and hear him talk about life as one of the best virtuosos since Rock's Bottom Rolled us! HA
He left UFO in 78, so i guess that was the year you saw them.

Michael Schenker had the balls to say no to : Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Mothoread, Whitesnake... Always true to himself and his music, the ultimate guitar God! He plays better than ever, he's mind-blowing!

Congratulations Michael, you´re an amazing musician and a very humble guy who knows how important it is to thank God and all those who helped and are important to you. Perry is a great dude too, but he seemed to be not enjoying the party at all...but he´s also a legend, anyway.

great player a lot to learn from him imho at lest in my book he is far above one Malmsteen, new sort of players i do not even wish to mention and at lest in same level as EVH but i like far more sound of MS.
