Thanks so much @livkenya for featuring us in your video (@rodgers, @kevinI and @kevinK) we are happy. It was nice meeting you, to more adventures. Kenya is a beautiful country
Hi Kevin, it was a pleasure meeting you guys and thank you for saving the day. We almost got stuck at the lake😂😂😂😂😂. Baraka tele
Asanteni sana 😂😂
@rodgers I always see your Suzuki around Kangaru Embu
@@nelsonkaranjah6166 Yeap...and when you see it say hi. Thank you
Kenya is a beautiful country with beautiful landscape and I love the smooth meandering roads.
I never knew Mt,Kenya was near where my daughter goes to school, thanks Olivia for enlightening me,be blessed.
As usual, great videos, kudos @livkenya. Your drone could have come in handy here.
You have gained a lot of global audience especially after the S.A trip, consider having sub titles while speaking in Kiswahili.
Otherwise all the best.
Thank you for the support and feedback, @Njoroge. Drone footage would be breath-taking. However, it is actually illegal to fly a drone inside a national park.
Watching From Kizingo , Mombasa....Hii Trip ni tamu kushinda showmax😊
Kenya is indeed so beautiful, the vallies, fresh water, the land scapes, the natural vegetation. Amazing, thanks for always taking us with you.
Wow what a paradisiacal scenery of Mt Kenya. This place is worth visiting I'd say. Thanks Liv and your team for sharing.
You are welcome and thank you for watching, @tebbokem.
I'll be disappointed if vids does not hit 500k views top adventure
It will get there soon. Please share it widely
Such a wonderful video. I was entranced the whole time. But Lake Ellis is stunning
I am glad you enjoyed it, Jimmy. Thank you for your support.
Thank you for taking us to Mt. Kenya the place is unspoilt, beautiful and natural, the lake waters are clear and clean, 👌👍
You are welcome, George. Thanks too for tuning in.

Mount Kenya. 👌👌🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Thanks for joining us.
Thanku for showing us this beautiful African country from Toronto will be there one day soon to enjoy Kenya
You are welcome, @nuraegal. You will enjoy Kenya.
Looks so exciting camping outdoors and traveling. I'm amazed .. Wow!👍🏾beautiful view 👀
It is exciting. Thanks for watching, @mariorafe
Another brilliant video. All of those lakes should receive local names from the surrounding communities.
That's the problem with meru county gvt.they dont know how to market their resources.they should learn from our neighbors samburu.
Thank you
Wow! I come from the mt. Kenya region but I never thought such places with clean water existed. Thanks liv for enlightening us.
You are welcome and thank you for tuning in.
We always hike every year to ellis
🫡 Salute to you. It is not easy
Waoh i have enjoyed the trip virtually.. Thanks for taking us along😊😊
I am glad, Ann. Thank you for tuning in
Kudos LIV and the Gang absolutely beautiful.
Thank you, @thelocalafricanews8824
Wow I would stay at Ni thi falls for hours if I was there, how I wish all of Kenya was that clean and unspoilt so our grandchildren can also experience it , absolutely romantic, but touring mountains can be very tiring because of the rarefied air on the mountain. Lovely. 😅
I agree. Nithi Falls is enchanting. Thank you, George
The roads are scenic.
The mountain is magnificent 💯.
I love it.
Thumbs up Liv.
Wueh, na venye tulijichocha na SA, kumbe Kenya kuna mazuri❤...pesa hutesa na pia ni tamu...😂😂 Thanks for revealing this side of our beloved motherland.... looking forward to the next one ❤
Kenya has a lot. Hii siku nayo pesa ilitutesa but it was worth it😅😅. Thank you for watching, Milly.
Keep up the good job,Liv.As a road trip and hiking enthusiast,I have found inspiration in your work...kazi nzuri sana.
Hi Liv n Team kubwa.
Great job mazee. U hit lake Ellis u get rained on.
Hello, John. Thank you. We were lucky hatukuchapwa na mvua. Haki tungeumia😅
Thank you. Always adventurous and educative
.I tell you this every country was created in unique way.Certainly Kenya,s beauty spots are some of the best on earth. There are more than 1500 fallson mt kenya alone.
Nithi falls is something else.
Magnificent. I agee.
This route has so many speed bumps.
The road is quite narrow with several meanders. The bumps are necessary.
Thank you so much Liv Kenya and Team for such a phenomenal tour of Kenya (the mother land) y'all did an amazing job on the video footage of Mt Ololokwe ,your trip to the Equator line, BuffaloSprings ,Trout Tree Restaurant, Muranga Gorges and Mt Kenya/Nithi falls wow! The water falls and the greenery landscape was truly beautiful (AKA the Garden of Eden)
Looking forward to visit the Mother land one day....till your next video you and team please keep up the great work
Have a bless day

You are welcome. Thank you so much for the support and for following this journey, Theo. I am glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to Kenya, someday. You will love it.
pole for missing this. Had no internet but surely this reminds me when i used to school at Kibirishia Boys i used to vist most of this placeses. WHAT A MEMORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As always, I enjoy your trips and appreciate your efforts!!! Such a lovely experience!!!
Liv, the forest be4 meru town is part of the Mt Kenya forest. Amazing videos.
I was wondering how you were to return to your vehicles because you seemed extremely tired.
With a 1500cc car, you can easily get to Ellis. A hike from the Mt Kenya reserve gate is also possible, 1hr if you're fit enough, 2hrs for slower climbers.
The road to Lake Ellis is quite rugged and cars with a low clearance cannot manage it.
@@LIVKENYA they need to grade it continuously... Lake Ellis is a comfortable drive if they do. I'm from the area.
Fantastic video as usual. Well-done LIV❤
Thank you, Eddie.
'Things fell apart 'and there was a 'river in between'; your mum sounds like my age mate as those were the set books we partook them days. Lenana used to sparkle... the ice has really receded. Got to that peak in 1996/sevenish, (cannot recall exact year). Kenyans were not into mt. climbing and so I ended up there with a group of German physicists (the oldest of them was a 59 year old professor). Don't know if it is easier or harder to get up the 4985m nowadays but either way train some and hire yourselves the appropriate gear, (it was scarce then, hehehe). Announce when you head to Kili, I may choose to crawl up that one....
Wow. Very impressive, Maria. From the guides we met, we learnt that most hikers summit to the Lenana peak. Batian and Nelion are reserved for very experienced hikers. We are starting to warm up to hiking. We will start small and gradually advance. We will announce when ready for Kili. Thanks again for tuning in.
Thank you, this was beautiful. I laughed so hard when Hadiya said that she was wondering how she would get home😂. Can't wait for the next trip.
Thank you, Rahab. I am glad you enjoyed it. We were so exhausted at that point. Thank God for Kevin's group.
I was also wondering how you were going to go back considering how how exhausted you were. The way you got rescued... This is the situation where you say "Ni God manze". The way you packed that vehicle was hilarious 😂.You were packed like sardines. A five seater took eight adults. Two light guys could have climbed the roof, like Pato & the tour guide. That vehicle had a decent roof rack. Mt Kenya is beautiful and has lots of hike trails. It's a hiker's paradise. Thank you for the trip, never been everywhere you went.
Our energy stores were severely depleted🤣🤣. By the way, ni God manze. Kevin and his group really saved the day. The initial plan, if we were not going to fit, was to get a few people on the roof. However, that was dangerous because of the rugged terrain and road. The roof people would fall off. Thank God we fit😆. Thanks for tuning in, Nicholas.
Wonderful. Such an epic journey with stunning views.
You never disappoint , keep it up.
Baaaaaaas! I've started with this last episode. Let me go and look for the first three.
This was awesome. And that tall guy with a lot of hair on his head looks familiar. Say hi to him.
Thank you for the support, Dan. Will say hello.
Kenya is beautiful ❤️.. mother land
This time is more physical exercise thanks for taking us with you
Liv it’s Lake Nkunga in that forest you passed before getting to Meru town
Noted with thanks, Purity
beauty after beauty everywhere ...i loved it.
I am glad, John. Thank you for tuning in.
Iam still here following virtually
Thank you so much for the support.
The reserve that is just past Meru University on your way to Meru town is referred to as Nkunga forest. It is home to several elephants and Lake Nkunga, a sacred crater lake in Meru. People are also allowed to graze
Water is safe to drink because its fast flowing unlike stagnat that allows bacteria to grow.
It's because it's from the glacier melt
Yes. With minimal human and animal activities.
Super amazing views.
They are indeed spectacular
@@LIVKENYA keep moving and going, authentic is theme for all your videos
Liv starts hiking: “I’m not a hiker”
10 mins later into the mt Kenya hike: “this is why hiking is important” 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is so beautiful. It looks like the movie avator. Tell our creatives to shoot movies here.
Great vlog and epic views❤
Thank you
back in campus- Mount Kenya University.. i didn't realize the names of our hostels [lenana, nelion and batian] were the actual names of MT Kenya peaks 😂😂🙆♂
Actually my highschool streams were Batian ,Lenana and Satima .
😆😆Don't beat yourself. Everyday, we learn new things. Thanks for tuning in, @Stann and @Ann
Meru is mwaaaaaa❤
I agree, @msaneye. Looking forward to another opportunity to explore it further. Thanks for watching.
Bravo Liv & Co. Prepare for proper aching muscles . You will discover muscles you never knew you had.😅
😅😅 Thank you, AG. Yes, our muscles suffered a few days. It was a great hike, nonetheless. Thank you for watching.
Lake Nkubu is a quarry lake, from Nkubu town it a 10 minute drive I Think the google was right, despite being a quarry lake it so scenic
During my time at Chuka University we were using the Mt Kenya water...we drank it raw and i tell you, it was sooo cold and yummy
Thanks for showing us the beautiful kenya. There are no better words to define Mt kenya. This looks like the Garden of Eden.what is the distance between where you parked your car and the lake?.How was the other car able to drive up there or was there a different route.
Thank you, Joyce. Mt. Kenya is indeed beautiful.
1. The distance between where we parked and Lake Ellis is approximately 4kms.
2. There is a road to Lake. Ellis. However, it is very rugged and can only be managed by 4x4 cars with relatively high clearance.
Keep on keeping on.
Thank you, John
Amazing views, say Hi to Hadia
Will do, @bcmtv. Thank you for watching.
Attitude humbled you from caves to nithi falls you guys you tried
My favorite view is when the clouds were clossing in over the mountain and the vegetation.Lakini olivia hii drone ilienda wapi?ni maombi inataka ama?It could be very useful here😢
Very nice river gorges.
It sure is!
Olive please keep up the good work. Tip: Do not reveal to the audience that you are visiting a place for the second time. Also, never talk about a pre-visit. Do your videos as if it is the first visit all the time.
What's wrong with visiting the same place a couple of times and engaging your audience with different perspectives ranging from 'the time you should visit', 'the kind of resources you might need at different times', 'how enjoyable the place was we had to mobilize resources and do it again', etc. I mean what's wrong with telling your audience or even travel enthusiasts about reconnaissance visits aka pre-visits?
@@edwardmatara4955 Agreed, doing it twice allows her to superimpose and enable the 'sofa traveller' to 'travel' even more.
@edwardmatara4955 I completely agree with you, I see nothing wrong with pre-visists and that is her way of doing things. The advice is not well thought
Thanks for this wonderful adventure. You Girls are very adventurous.I can only dream of going to these places. The back country of Kenya is so beautiful.
Thank you for the feedback, @dreday6853. I am sorry you feel that way. However, the pre-visit was necessary for many reasons that I won't mention. It also helped in showing our audience day footages for the places we passed through at night.
Magical kenya 🇰🇪
It's unbelievably beautiful
Absolutely amazing
Try Mt Rwenzori in Uganda.U will accept
Good one Liv Kenya
Thank you, Pius.
Visit Murchison falls ❤
I have really enjoyed the episodes on this circuit. How much is the fee? How can one contact you?
Great work ❤
You made Aadiyah sweat,tired
😅😅It was a very long hike. Walked close to 10km that day😅
I love your content ❤
I am glad. Thank you for the support, Julius.
Amazing ❤❤❤
Thank you for tuning in
Hi liv am one of your subscribers I need your help can you pliz tell me how to go about getting the comesa insurance and how much, then how much is yellow fever, finally can you enter Tanzania or Uganda with I'd if you don't have passport? I'll appreciate and it will be more helpful thanks

Wonderful adventure. Liv Kenya how do I join this group for the next episode?

@@LIVKENYA OK thanks
😊out of curiosity liv do you guys have a day job or what?

Hello, Irvin. Yes, most of us have 8 to 5 jobs. We travel during our off/leave days.
😊😊SOME travel enthusiasts and journalists live off that kind of job!
Love this adventure it beautiful looks enjoyed yourselves
Yes we had so much fun, @Ian Jesse. Thanks for following the trip
That is as high as Lesotho.
It is much higher than Lesotho. Mount Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa (over 17,000 feet) after mount Kilimanjaro
Like Stephen has said, Mt. Kenya is much higher. Thanks for watching, Seeta
@@stephenkatua9395 Thank you.
38:50 hiyo ndio heath and moorland
Your geography knowledge is on point. Thanks for tuning in, @afrocentric
How did the car fair with the low concentration of oxygen at high altitude?
It performed well, @_born84. We left it behind, however, because the roads up to Mt. Ellis requires a 4x4 car that has a very high clearance.
Nice job 👍👍👍
Lovely Trip ❤
damn so scenic
I appreciate the good work and the video, though point of correction, please gather the correct information before you embark on search a wonderful adventure
ie we don't have lenana at Mt kilimanjaro.
She is touring Mt Kenya not Mt Kilimanjaro and learn to concentrate while watching so that you don't just reply to things you know. Lenana peak is in Mt Kenya.
You don't know
@ankoletoursandtravel5287 Did we say we were in Mt. Kilimanjaro?
@@topar4777 Thank you

This is fun🎉

LIV, what camera do you use please
Hello, Bande. I use Go Pro Hero 9 and 10.
@@LIVKENYA thank you
Liv how much is the gate fees to mt kenya
Hello, @Brickyadventures. Entry fee is Ksh. 430 per person, and Ksh. 300 for a small car. You will, however, need a licensed guide to do the same trail.
Nyandarua not Nyahururu
if there was no magnetic hill then mgefika na pal huko juu
Yes, that's true.
This circuit is incomplete. You guys didn't show much of Meru, you even missed Tharaka Nithi bridge which is a major landmark in Meru! Best views of Mt Kenya are in Embu. Don't forget camp Dunda in Embu. Also the tallest tree in Kenya is in Chuka. Not forgetting the Meru national park also in Tharaka. You guys haven't even done a half of Mt Kenya. Where is Mwea Rice irrigation, the seven folks dams in Mbeere, Mwea national reserve in Mbeere, Embu? You concentrated too much on Marsabit, over 300km away from Mt Kenya and left out actual Mt Kenya areas.
Consider redoing this and research properly next time.
😆😆Breathe, Job. There is very little one can do in four days. Plus, the world is not ending tomorrow. Thank you for the pointers.
Everything is watu watu, kwasu kwasu 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Next time wear trainers tracksuit tshirt when going places ka hizi

who said Kenya doesn't have great roads!
😆😆 we try. Thank you, @seocontentdepo4217
❤ come 2025 I'm there
Amen, Lerato. Welcome to Kenya.
They have destroyed mt. Kenya eco system, with all sorts of human activities.
People are allowed this days to drive on top of mt. kenya
That is unfortunate. Thanks for watching, Ali.
are you a teacher
No, I am not, Dowen. Thank you for watching.
