Liv, the forest be4 meru town is part of the Mt Kenya forest. Amazing videos. I was wondering how you were to return to your vehicles because you seemed extremely tired.
As usual, great videos, kudos @livkenya. Your drone could have come in handy here. You have gained a lot of global audience especially after the S.A trip, consider having sub titles while speaking in Kiswahili. Otherwise all the best.
Thank you for the support and feedback, @Njoroge. Drone footage would be breath-taking. However, it is actually illegal to fly a drone inside a national park.

You are welcome. Thank you so much for the support and for following this journey, Theo. I am glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to Kenya, someday. You will love it.
.I tell you this every country was created in unique way.Certainly Kenya,s beauty spots are some of the best on earth. There are more than 1500 fallson mt kenya alone.
Baaaaaaas! I've started with this last episode. Let me go and look for the first three. This was awesome. And that tall guy with a lot of hair on his head looks familiar. Say hi to him.
Wow I would stay at Ni thi falls for hours if I was there, how I wish all of Kenya was that clean and unspoilt so our grandchildren can also experience it , absolutely romantic, but touring mountains can be very tiring because of the rarefied air on the mountain. Lovely. 😅
'Things fell apart 'and there was a 'river in between'; your mum sounds like my age mate as those were the set books we partook them days. Lenana used to sparkle... the ice has really receded. Got to that peak in 1996/sevenish, (cannot recall exact year). Kenyans were not into mt. climbing and so I ended up there with a group of German physicists (the oldest of them was a 59 year old professor). Don't know if it is easier or harder to get up the 4985m nowadays but either way train some and hire yourselves the appropriate gear, (it was scarce then, hehehe). Announce when you head to Kili, I may choose to crawl up that one....
Wow. Very impressive, Maria. From the guides we met, we learnt that most hikers summit to the Lenana peak. Batian and Nelion are reserved for very experienced hikers. We are starting to warm up to hiking. We will start small and gradually advance. We will announce when ready for Kili. Thanks again for tuning in.
With a 1500cc car, you can easily get to Ellis. A hike from the Mt Kenya reserve gate is also possible, 1hr if you're fit enough, 2hrs for slower climbers.
I was also wondering how you were going to go back considering how how exhausted you were. The way you got rescued... This is the situation where you say "Ni God manze". The way you packed that vehicle was hilarious 😂.You were packed like sardines. A five seater took eight adults. Two light guys could have climbed the roof, like Pato & the tour guide. That vehicle had a decent roof rack. Mt Kenya is beautiful and has lots of hike trails. It's a hiker's paradise. Thank you for the trip, never been everywhere you went.
Our energy stores were severely depleted🤣🤣. By the way, ni God manze. Kevin and his group really saved the day. The initial plan, if we were not going to fit, was to get a few people on the roof. However, that was dangerous because of the rugged terrain and road. The roof people would fall off. Thank God we fit😆. Thanks for tuning in, Nicholas.
Thanks for showing us the beautiful kenya. There are no better words to define Mt kenya. This looks like the Garden of Eden.what is the distance between where you parked your car and the lake?.How was the other car able to drive up there or was there a different route.
Thank you, Joyce. Mt. Kenya is indeed beautiful. 1. The distance between where we parked and Lake Ellis is approximately 4kms. 2. There is a road to Lake. Ellis. However, it is very rugged and can only be managed by 4x4 cars with relatively high clearance.
My favorite view is when the clouds were clossing in over the mountain and the vegetation.Lakini olivia hii drone ilienda wapi?ni maombi inataka ama?It could be very useful here😢
Olive please keep up the good work. Tip: Do not reveal to the audience that you are visiting a place for the second time. Also, never talk about a pre-visit. Do your videos as if it is the first visit all the time.
What's wrong with visiting the same place a couple of times and engaging your audience with different perspectives ranging from 'the time you should visit', 'the kind of resources you might need at different times', 'how enjoyable the place was we had to mobilize resources and do it again', etc. I mean what's wrong with telling your audience or even travel enthusiasts about reconnaissance visits aka pre-visits?
@edwardmatara4955 I completely agree with you, I see nothing wrong with pre-visists and that is her way of doing things. The advice is not well thought
Thanks for this wonderful adventure. You Girls are very adventurous.I can only dream of going to these places. The back country of Kenya is so beautiful.
Thank you for the feedback, @dreday6853. I am sorry you feel that way. However, the pre-visit was necessary for many reasons that I won't mention. It also helped in showing our audience day footages for the places we passed through at night.
