Even with the occasional second chance bullshit, I still think this cod is the best of all time. Just classic gun on gun, no op shotguns, explosives, or snipers.

I feel like the only reason people don’t like BO1 is because it fixed most of the problems that people constantly complained about in MW2.
Unbalancing they fixed, sniping, they fixed (don’t tell me you haven’t raged from a quickscoper), killstreaks, they fixed, noob tubes, they fixed.
bo1 was my favorite cod, I had 35 days played on it and almost 100k kills just playing search and destroy. Good ole times!
bo1 is the most balanced for me and is my all time favorite, still playing in ps3 and its going strong like fine wine

@@af7119 only two issues for me on that game, second chance. Second chance in other games in cod were never as annoying and ghost pro makes you invisible to everything. But those ppl usually ate a nade cause most of them usually camped in the same spots all the time

call of duty games are still expensive, look at steam. there is noo way they will give out each guy for 5 bucks or for free with gamepass. the Dlcs on cod4,bo1,mw2,mw3, waw, bo2 are still the same price when they came out. typical activison

I’m pretty sure they can’t right now, they don’t actually own Activision otherwise cod 2022 would be canceled. The paperwork for the buy out will be finalized sometime in 2023

Because most of these older COD games are full of older men who probably work now and have families. They get on and sit in corners aiming down sights because their reactions are gone. Kind of funny but sad in a way too lol.

Man I miss this game, hands down my most memory filled call of duty.. and to top it off you played on drive in which was my absolute favorite dlc map, loved the whole vibe of the map 👍 the pc version of this game is trash with all the servers with their dumb rules, wish I had a way to play it in console again

It's honestly really sad seeing how today's Black Ops 1 lobbies play; most players are just back for casual games due to the nostalgia, but Fortunate just tears through them like wet tissue paper. I miss the days when nearly everyone on the server was a tryhard to some extent, and they were the master of whatever gun they were using; everyone was a threat, unless they were a noob, but even the noobs would improve a lot by the end of the day.

BO1 will always be my favorite CoD, first CoD where I hit max prestige, so many good memories! Idk if its just me but back in its prime the gameplay felt more fast paced than it is nowadays.

Lightweight pro slight a hand pro Marathon pro AK-74 u with rapid fire a tomahawk and a jammer was my go-to load out in Black ops 1 just hearing the gun shoot in the reload just made the nostalgia come rushing in 💯

Always thought black ops 1 had the best selection and sounding smgs and rifles. Also the pistols weren’t as bad as they are now damage wise they actually could contend with the the other classes. Overall the weapons in black ops 1 are good.
This is exactly why I find it weird when people say only some games have campers. Almost all fps games and all cod games have camping.

One of my favourite guns from BO1 was the Spectre. I remember taking that into gamebattles and stomping, had people messaging me for the setup because it wasn’t as popular of a gun for GB

This is my fav weapon in BO1. AK74U w/Rapid Fire, Care Package, Attack Heli, Chopper Gunner and C4 for campers.
This AK is so good you don’t even need claymores. I used to just run around the map and pick the enemy team from behind. Easy streaks.

Although as a career Spawntuber coming from MW2 I actually enjoyed Tubes being hella weak in this game because the gunplay was so good, IF the lobby had good hit reg.

I never really followed COD games every time they released a new one, but BO1 was the first and only one I got when it was new and experienced all the hype. Such a fun game.
It sucks that COD releases new shit every year instead of a live development model like R6 Siege because old games just die.

Best cod game ever, with all the content no cod ever came close!! Yeah maybe mw2 and bo2 but no bo1 was and will always be the best, and the ak74u was so good as well
They patched this gun early on in bo1 and after that it just didn’t feel right to me anymore. Even tho I think they only changed the recoil, they didn’t majorly nerf it but still it just never felt right after that. And besides the assault rifles were the best by far anyways so there was no reason to use this gun with the famas being so good.
