at 7:00 I have also read Jeremy thatcher Dragon hatcher
Jeremy's Dragon is called Tiamat and she gets as big as a house in approximately 6 months as he journeys with her. But he doesn't rider her as far as I can remember. The journey ends when the Magic shop owner who told Jeremy "you don't want that egg, it wants you" sends Tiamat throught a magic portal to the world of the Dragons.
Jeremy Thatcher later realizes that he has a telepathic dream-connection with Tiamat after she is sent back to her world, and they spend nights adventuring together as he sees through her eyes in her world.
The way that the dragon communicated with Jeremy is nearly Identical to Eragon and Saphira's telepathic link. Jeremy sends images and attaches emotions and strings of other things to asociate with them to Tiamat, and she sends back images to him. But unlike in Eragon, it takes Jeremy a while to get the hang of this, and he can't really ever teach her English

I remember that book, it was alright. Of course, in my book the character does ride his dragon, and she can also speak perfect English.

Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher is one of my favorite dragon books! It is also the reason I go into every magic shop I find.
