I also really needed this better beader episode;-) thank you so much for your very clear explanation of all these techniques. I’ve been beading going on 3 years now and I wondered so many times if I was doing some parts correctly.. lol.. now I understand lol! Ty Potomac beads and Alley! ❤😊
I really needed this Better Beader episode! This is something that I can struggle with so thanks so much for the info. Also, looking at that netted piece and seeing it finished in the Q&A yesterday has me very excited to see the tutorial. It is beautiful!
Do you ever use the thread adding method that you use two square knots and burn the tips to hold the thread together? I believe they are referring to it as a thread join, or something like that. Are you familiar? If so, what do you think about the approach? I still use the methods you went over in the video, just curious about what you think of the other method? I believe it is how fishermen add line, or fix it when their line breaks.
You might be talking about a square knot Right strand over left, left over right, and that it is. Then I weave the tails into the piece, take the new length of thread and weave it through the project until it is in position to continue beading.
Hi Allee, can you tell me where I can find the tutorial for this Green beaded version of this necklace with the bicones added? This is soooo beautiful. Would love to try this.
